The transformation of this space from a movie multiplex is fantastic! Arrived a bit early for our dinner reservation to explore- everything is spotlessly clean and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Amazing bee themed artwork is everywhere. Timberfire did not disappoint- our party of four all ordered different cocktails, starters and entrees. All good. Two words to remember- Smoked Meatloaf. Excellent! In the end everyone agreed- we will be going back. The patio looks like a great place to hang out and relax some evening. read more

We have been excited to give this place a try, but live over an hour away. Yesterday, our plans brought us to the doorstep, as we realized we'd be driving past on our way home from an event. Gorgeous building, friendly staff, but after walking inside we stayed for less than 10 minutes. In my opinion, it was an odd vibe. Honestly, we were confused as to what the main attraction was... everything was separated and felt very cold. Not the warm, bustling community hall feeling I expected. Concessions is simply reheated food and snacks. There is a grab and go frozen food section. The screen area was playing the soccer game, but the room was empty. We reviewed the menu for Timber Fire thinking we would have dinner, but there was very little that grabbed our attention... Ultimately, thankful we did not make the trip just for this venue and happened to be in the neighborhood. read more

Amazing! We stopped in the "Hive" to see what was accomplished during the months of construction. I was shocked and amazed at what they have created. The facility is enormous. More than enough room for an uncountable number of people to do anything they could imagine. You enter into a central area that includes a greeting area as well as a concession space that is expansive with plenty of treats to choose from. The entrances to all the other venues are off of this central space. To your left is the "Beehive" which is a commissary type space with a large selection of fresh foods. As well as an entire wall of refrigerated space filled with prepared foods of every kind to take home. Next is the "Screens" theater that runs films or can be rented out to project anything you want (including games) for gatherings. On the end of the central area is the entrance to the "Timberfire" restaurant. A spacious venue nicely layed out with a large bar, central fireplace and spacious dining room. I also understand they have space for large parties and weddings. The "Hive" is an amazing place and I can't wait to see it swing into action We already have our reservation for "Timberfire". Absolutely impressed with what has been done with this space! Everything from live music to private movie screenings to fresh food, you can take in the café or to go... and the wonderful restaurant Timberfire! And there's cute little local selling boutique shops set up all around. Definitely worth your visit and we will be back! Also, the service was impeccable, and the design throughout is top-notch! read more

The Hive - Front of building - Cultural Center Near Me - Chagrin Falls, Ohio

Unfair and wrongful termination of 2 LGBTQ employees. They were hard workers, dedicated to great service and loved by many, but they were sacked with no warning simply because they made someone feel uncomfortable. If there was a problem, management should have said something before hand. Shame on the management at the Hive/Timberfire. If you support this place, then you support homophobia. If I could give it zero stars I would. Trust, I will be posting this all over social media. What a mistake. read more
