Paid $360 for a room for one night. Would never stay again - extremely poor service, far from town,…read moresuper overpriced for what you get, and they nickel and dime you to death for everything.... Here's a quick rundown: - Arrived around 2pm on Saturday, learned check-in isn't until 5pm. Seriously, FIVE PM???!? I've stayed at hundreds of hotels around the world, and this is by far the latest check-in time I've ever seen. - Desk woman immediately informed me that our $360 room was next to the elevator, and to get a quiet room, we would need to pay more for a different room type. Seriously? We stuck with our original (very expensive) room and have not had noise issues yet. Seems they are pushing hard for desk people to upsell rooms. Many hotels give FREE upgrades.... - They pre-authorized $300 in " incidentals" plus the room cost ($350) upon check-in. Not really an issue, but speaks to either the insecurity of the ownership, or the typical clientele that stays here. - They do not give room keys. You need to download an app to access your room. If you want a regular key, you need to pay extra for it. I'm sorry Mr. Rich Hotel Owner, but on a $360/night room, I'm not interested in installing an app so my data can be sold to marketing firms and you can save $30 a month in lost keys. - Once you install the data-stealing app, it does not work to open the room door. We had problems the entire night trying to open the door. The desk people could not help when we inquired, and also did not offer a regular key. - Rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Holes in walls, cabinets and trim bent and water damaged, doors do not close properly. Carpet was ripped and fraying. Again, we paid $360/night for this room... - No tub, and shower was about .75m wide. Impossible to shower in there without bumping into the walls. Gross. - No coffee in lobby, unless you want to pay for coffee from a machine. Did someone forget that we paid nearly $400 for a hotel room? Thankfully McDonalds is nearby and they have way better coffee anyway. - If you want to sit outdoors, you cannot bring your own drinks or food. They force you to buy it from their extremely overpriced shop, which has a really limited and poor selection. Give me a break.

Enough space, furniture, and wifi to get some remote work done. My only annoyance is the staff aggressively pushing their in-house data harvesting app as a "green" measure. But that's a very minor thing.

Rustic but very eclectic and I'm not sure if it's on purpose. Very clean and all the rooms have their own unique layout...so original! We loved it! When we initially booked, we were immediately offered a spaghetti dinner for our team and their families at a very reasonable price. Then the day before we got there our game time had been changed to a later time and we wouldn't be able to make it to the restaurant until 1/2 hour before they were scheduled to close; they stayed open for us! Did not rush us and made us all feel very welcome to be there. The food was delicious as well. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who happens to travel in the area. We received an excellent team price and I found this hotel a breath of fresh air compared to the chain, cookie-cutter hotels we usually use! Thank you to the staff for a great stay! They knew my name when I checked in and rendered it and greeted me each time I can in and out. The service was just great. I am so impressed with just that aspect and then the room it's self was spacious, sparkling clean and very comfy. The beds are huge a pillowy. Can't say enough good stuff about this place. If I ever happen to require accommodations in Lillooet no doubt this is where I will book my room. Also going forward this is where I will be putting up all my staff when we send them out here on jobs.

These cabins are nice. The bed is so comfortable and they even have heated flooring in the bathroom. The cabin we booked came with so many things that you would never get from a hotel (I.e. toaster, cutlery, plates, fridge, etc.) and for pretty much the same price. Honestly, if I had plans to goo hiking in the area or boarding at Whistler, I'd make this my god to accommodation. It's also a 10min drive from Alice Lake. One thing to note, and by no means is this a complaint, but bare in mind that not all of the cabins have a decent river view, but accessing the Cheakamus is only a couple minutes away. You can definitely hear it though and it's actually very relaxing to fall asleep to. Info: - The staff are very friendly - Fergies cafe is located here, which is a huge plus. - The parking spot is conveniently located right in front of your front door, which is very helpful if your unloading a bunch of bags and equipment. - Check out is a breeze. You just drop the key off at a box in front of the office.

You can also call them after hours if you need help with anything! It was a bit rainy, but this actually highlighted the colors of the forest! Everything was more vibrant! Around this time is the beginning of autumn, so most trees were green with a few yellow trees! It was perfect! Everywhere you look is a photograph! The campfire was great. We used it every night! The lodge was amazing! We used it for bbq and karaoke (that we brought ourselves)! Fergie's Catering for our wedding was fine dining! The river was beautiful, and made everyone want to explore! The couple's cabin was super cute and cozy! It was difficult to leave as we had the most perfect wedding! Having our families stay in the cabin made the wedding last all night! It was the best experience! Our family loved everything and hopes to come back!

We did not have breakfast here as we were hurrying to our next destination. Give yourself more time than expected as there was a line when we were checking out around 9 am. There is free parking on site which is always very convenient, and pets are allowed here too. There is a pool with water slide and a hot tub. The place was packed with people, especially children since it was the last week of Spring break, There is also a gym here. Our room was surprisingly big. There was a sitting area with sofa and fireplace. There was also a microwave besides the usual fridge and coffee maker. No bottled water. The bathroom was equally spacious with a big bath tub and seating area. You could fit two in it. Same with the separate shower area. I do not understand why there are showerheads on both ends though, Maybe to save time if you are there with a partner to shower? Checking in and out was quite a breeze. No issue on that. We had few issues with the room upon check-in so we had to go up and down but then it got solved and we got good room. We got a nice complementary chocolate plate from the hotel for our 6th wedding anniversary. Parking was inside the garage and it was for additional cost $40 CAD which is very pricey. We heard that hotel has a free shuttle service to town, as well as drop off with a private car (first come first serve). We didn't used it because we wanted to walk since weather was so nice, maybe next time. Hotel has a few restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed nice lunch at Portobello, I highly recommend their cuban sandwich and Belgium hot chocolate. Breakfast place The Wildflower was very crowded and service was very bad. Most of the people take buffet and if you want to take a la carte you will wait even longer for the food. However, egg Benedict was excellent and cappuccino and latte is speciality coffee and cost extra but it's worth it. We reserved the Wildflower for anniversary dinner. The ambience doesn't feel like in an upscale restaurant, maybe because we used to this as a breakfast place... Food was good my husband took lamb loin, I took elk tar tar that was divine, clam chowder was good as well. But we didn't felt romantic atmosphere, the place was very casual and we felt like we were overdressed. Service was better than service at breakfast. Room was very spacious, we got higher floor with a village view. Hotel was fully booked because it was last day for sky gondola for blackcomb mountain. Pool and spa felt overpacked! There were sooo many kids and few hot tubs were out of service. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however we felt it was bit overpriced. We loved the hotel, the location but service was lacking maybe because of the high demand.
