The place was dirty. We had planned to stay two nights, but we couldn't handle it so we ran like the wind. The floors and baseboards were filthy, and the chairs had multiple large brown stains on them. They tried to cover them up with tiny chair mats, but they only covered about half the seat. The microwave was plugged into a cheap power strip, a dangerous fire code violation.
It appears that so much maintenance is being deferred that the place is unsafe. The flimsy upstairs railing is very wobbly, and one of the stair rails is attached with short rusty screws and cracked pieces of wood.
The dead flowers in the hanging pots were a nice touch, though, as was the monthly resident howling and threatening to kill someone in the parking lot for half the night. read more
