Just a heads up, you'll need to book in advance if you want to secure a time slot to see the infinity room. We picked the 3:45 PM slot and waited about 5-10 minutes before entering. There's no food, drinks, or flash photography allowed (which makes sense). To be honest, I was a little surprised by how small the Infinity Room actually is. It's just a tiny platform you stand on surrounded by mirrors so be careful not to get too close to the edges. I think the photos online made it seem much bigger and more "galaxy-like," so I had different expectations going in You're only inside for about five minutes before it's time to exit for the next group. Still, it was a cool experience to check off the list and afterward we walked around The Broad, which made it a fun afternoon overall. It was built by a former artist for Disney Studios and the builder, Lawrence Joseph worked on all of it for decades. There are adorable cottages and a view from the street is super. I think some of it may be occupied, I am not sure, so I did not venture far, just the front and back yard and stopped when I saw what looked like an apartment building. It is an LA Historical Landmark and just so cute. It is near Sony pictures. It almost looks like you are walking into a movie set. There is a great garden and a pond and it really does look like a Hobbit house. We were not there long, maybe 15 minutes and did not need to be. So, if you have 15 minutes and want to see a super cool house go take a peek.

Driving with the top down and the wind in your hair makes it even better ~ super relaxing and enjoyable. It's the kind of drive where you just take it slow and enjoy the ride. There are several lookout spots where you can pull over, catch an amazing sunset, and later see Hollywood and San Fernando Valley city lights at night. It's adorable and pretty and close to great bars. Shary and I made up a whole imaginary life, trying to picture someone who would give a random pond full of turtles a one star review. I was picturing how this, the final disappointment in a long and difficult day, would have made someone take the time to complain about this whimsical little landmark. Ice cream + crepe is always a winning combo! Lastly, we stopped by Nijiya Market to grab some drinks after all the sweetness from the crepes had us thirsty lol. It's honestly so convenient having a grocery store right there, it makes it easy to pick up random snacks and drinks while exploring. Overall, had such a fun day in Little Tokyo. The staff were friendly, the tickets were inexpensive at $1.50 each way, and it's the perfect little stop while exploring DTLA. Definitely worth checking out at least once--especially if you appreciate historic landmarks and classic LA attractions.
