The studio itself is a bit tucked away and hidden in an old industrial building but prior to arriving the studio sent an email with a helpful video! Additionally, I didn't know the best class to drop into because I have been poling for a year but I messaged the studio and they recommended the "level" that would best fit me. So thanks again! I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cleveland! Ps plan to take the stairs!

There is an old-school freight warehouse elevator, and if you haven't been properly trained on how to use it, don't try. Call ahead and tell them you need help with it when you get there. If you come here more than once, its best to learn how to use it directly from them. I'm updating my review to reflect the transition from virtual classes to in-person classes. Cleveland Eclectic Dance is still fantastic! Their studio spaces have high ceilings, large windows, a big open concept and plenty of room to spread out safely. The minute you walk in, the instructor will warmly greet you and make you feel like part of the CED family. The best thing about Cleveland Eclectic Dance is that its a very supportive, loving and fun environment. My small dance class was an eclectic mix of all ages, ethnicities, body types and skill levels (which I loved). The instructor was equally attentive, accepting and welcoming to everyone, especially me as a newbie. I am so incredibly impressed with all of the wonderful women that run this studio! They genuinely care about your experience and want you to have an empowering, fun, and supported time learning new things and loving yourself as you are.

It's easy to locate off such a main drag. If you're not from the area, be prepared to give yourself extra time for parking. There is no dedicated parking lot, but rather free street parking on surrounding blocks. It's worth it to arrive early just for peace of mind you can find a spot and not be rushed while parallel parking. I wouldn't recommend it as a spot to super last minute book a class. I've attended a few yoga classes and had a wonderful experience. I continuously meet inviting and engaging teachers that actually understand the type of yoga they're teaching. The class sizes are intentionally small and extremely low-pressure. That type of environment alone is enough to make me want to return. Its genuinely a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that meets you where you're at. As someone with physical limitations, I always feel comfortable here and never feel pressured to be something I'm not.

BOOKING CLASSES -- Use their website. I had a ClassPass membership back then so I used my ClassPass credits to book the Reformer class. As of the writing of this review, in July 2026, BeFitness is no longer on ClassPass so guests will need to buy a single class package or a membership directly from BeFitness. A friend told me that they got rid of their Class Pass contract a while ago now. (Side-note: ClassPass is an app that allows members to book classes at different fitness studios and have the option to also access gyms and spas across various cities). REFORMER CLASS -- Anyone that has done a Reformer class knows that it is challenging, especially at 5am. The instructor was good because she provided understandable cues of what to do for each move/exercise. The instructor was enthusiastic as well. Having now taken other Reformer Pilates classes at a different Pilates studio in Avon and Bay Village, I definitely do not think the Reformer Pilates class at Be Fitness was as hard as the others that I've taken elsewhere. Nonetheless, I still recommend BeFitness if you live in the area and are looking for a beginner and intermediate friendly class. The Reformer Pilates class that I took at a different studio was a more advanced class. TIP (Reformer Pilates) -- The good thing about Reformer Pilates is that you can always adjust the resistance straps to increase or decrease the amount of resistance (weight) that you are pulling. SERVICE -- I remember the check-in process being smooth when I entered and the front desk woman greeted me (she was also the instructor). Overall, I enjoyed the Reformer Pilates class. Similar to many fitness studios, they sometimes have deals/sales so join their email list or visit them on social media to stay informed with current discounts. I joined the Cleveland area YMCA a month after visiting BeFitness so I most likely won't be back to BeFitness since the YMCA offers a ton of fitness classes in addition to a full gym, pool, sauna, etc. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 151/250 total reviews in 2026 - 992 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 July 2026

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing from both a customer service and overall support standpoint. My first class (Aerial Silks) was less than satisfactory--I actually had to leave early due to motion sickness. While I understand that part is personal tolerance, I was hoping to try other classes within the package before making any longer-term commitment. Shortly after, I had a family medical emergency that required me to leave town to bring a family member back from Montana and help coordinate care at Cleveland Clinic. This obviously limited my ability to attend classes during the remainder of the 2-week window. At the beginning of the second week, I received a call from a representative offering to "help me sign up for classes." I tried to explain my situation and asked if there was any flexibility--specifically whether I could convert my unused time into an Introductory New Flight pack (even if I had to pay an additional fee), so I could properly try classes after my family situation stabilized. Instead of addressing my request, the conversation repeatedly shifted toward selling me a monthly membership. I explained multiple times that I had only attended one class and was not in a position to commit, but the focus remained on upselling rather than listening. What stood out most was the lack of empathy regarding my medical emergency. The call eventually ended abruptly, with the representative saying she was "sorry she called," which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, this experience felt less about supporting new students or encouraging participation in the sport, and more about pushing memberships. I had hoped for a more understanding, flexible, and customer-centered approach.

My boyfriend…read moreand I don't love to cook, and we always said if we ever took a cooking class, we wanted it to be something we might actually replicate at home. We chose Loretta Paganini School of Cooking because of Loretta's outstanding culinary reputation, but also because of their wide variety of class offerings. When we saw the breakfast class for crepes, waffles, and pancakes, the choice was easy. This isn't something obscure and is easily replicated at home. The Loretta Paganini School of Cooking is located in a snug and cozy older house. They have a small shop of chef-driven cooking supplies and one main room for cooking classes. The main room is smaller and I imagine can fit 10 people. This was my first cooking class ever and I loved the slanted mirrors on the ceiling to see instructions more clearly. Chef Loretta is SO talented that its probably easy to forget we're just simpletons, but she was able to laugh off the mistakes we made as true beginners. We had no idea what to expect prep wise, but everyone in the class was given different duties for the dish (so you yourself were never making it all). We ate the food as we went along and chatted techniques. Her assistants were great about providing water, coffee and general assistance when Chef was busy helping others. This was a fun experience and we would 100% return!

Loretta herself taught the class and gave us a number of tips on how to be successful in the kitchen. The brunch menu featured a variety of different recipes including frittatas, homemade sausage, a potato and sweet potato hash, pancakes with a bourbon syrup, cinnamon buns and much more! It was really a fun activity!! Loretta is so lovely and enthusiastic!
