Lizabeth, the manager, got back to us with a quote within a few days via email and got us on the schedule quickly. Kristen was our instructor and she was awesome! She was super nice and personable and definitely made it easy for us as beginners with no rhythm. Lol We pretty much told her that neither of us dance and we wanted to learn some basics so we don't look like complete idiots on our wedding day! We started our first lesson with hand and arm positions and the basic box steps (5, 6, 7, 8...*quick, quick, slow*) and we built upon that with side steps, turning, "the cuddle" move and some other moves in the following 3 sessions. She watched each of us closely and told us what we were doing wrong or right and took turns with each of us til we got the feel for it. Each session was roughly 45 minutes long and she wrote down notes of what we covered after each session so that we all knew where we left off during the next visit. During our last session, Kristen had us try all of the moves we learned to go along with the beat of the music and it was tough! We sure had a lot of fun though! Thank you, Kristen! On our wedding day, we dance pretty well and noone fell, so that's a win in my book! There is an old-school freight warehouse elevator, and if you haven't been properly trained on how to use it, don't try. Call ahead and tell them you need help with it when you get there. If you come here more than once, its best to learn how to use it directly from them. I'm updating my review to reflect the transition from virtual classes to in-person classes. Cleveland Eclectic Dance is still fantastic! Their studio spaces have high ceilings, large windows, a big open concept and plenty of room to spread out safely. The minute you walk in, the instructor will warmly greet you and make you feel like part of the CED family. The best thing about Cleveland Eclectic Dance is that its a very supportive, loving and fun environment. My small dance class was an eclectic mix of all ages, ethnicities, body types and skill levels (which I loved). The instructor was equally attentive, accepting and welcoming to everyone, especially me as a newbie. I am so incredibly impressed with all of the wonderful women that run this studio! They genuinely care about your experience and want you to have an empowering, fun, and supported time learning new things and loving yourself as you are.

Starting out I was confused with the flow of things but overtime I learned the ropes. My main gripe with ATB is that they're very much competition orientated. I really just want my girls to enjoy dance and gymnastics recreationally. I also do not want my young girls dressing in the dance recital outfits and wearing the unnecessary make up. Miss Mo and Miss Rachel have been great instructors who provide a positive and fun learning environment.

Classes are quick (45 minutes) and incorporate smart warm-ups and cool-downs and possibly a range of exercise equipment in between. Body Rocks is small and friendly - nothing like a mega-gym that is overwhelming and "cold." The monthly fee is a good buy if you go frequently. I recommend trying out all of the different classes. For adults, there is a range from of stretching, cardio, and weight or resistance training. I look forward to returning to Body Rocks and wish them the best of luck!

Our girls (ages 6 and 4) just finished their first season with NRDA. I can't express how pleased I…read moream that we chose NRDA. The teachers and student helpers were amazing, so great with the kids and so polite and professional. The class sizes were small so everyone got plenty of teacher attention and the tuition is affordable even for larger families. Our girls learned a lot and loved going to dance class and showing off the things they learned when they got home. The past year has been insane but I am very impressed with how Miss Amy and her staff navigated all the roadblocks and kept everyone safe, healthy, and dancing! We really enjoyed to recital especially, the music was tasteful, the venue was beautiful, the dances and costumes were age appropriate, and the whole thing was very well organized. We have been to other dance recitals where the choice of music and dances were not at all age appropriate, which makes us appreciate NRDA that much more. We will definitely be enrolling our girls with NRDA in the future and would HIGHLY RECCOMMEND them to anyone looking for a great dance class for their kids. Thank you so much NRDA!

I love when they balance the bean bags on their heads. They allow you to schedule a make up class if needed.
