They are moving studios, which is good because their facility was unpleasant. It had garbage on the floor and stains in the back locker room. I know it can be hard to control so many children at one, but I think this is a little out of hand. I won't tell about my personal experiences I had with the owner, but I will say she runs a tight shift. I have since been to other dance studios in the area such as Jordan Centre Dance, Lisa Renee, Center Stage, etc. I have had better experiences there than I did at DSM. They have charged people random amounts as nothing seems to be in order with this place. There is always some form of drama. They allow their employees to talk to paying customers any kind of way and be disrespectful towards you. I have experienced the owners being disrespectful first hand when all I did was try and have a conversation regarding my child and not the events that happened before hand as I was not there when they occurred. Other parents that know intimately about certain situations even feel that the business is run shadily. The owners along with staff are facinorous and all should take a course on customer service. There is no wonder student turnover is so high with this place. After a season of being disrespected most parents opt to take their children elsewhere (as we have) where you'll be respected and valued. I asked about a refund regarding a payment that was made and was told to read the contract. I asked if I could receive a copy of the said contract and was not provided 1. I was not included with the original conversations and when the account was created so I did not have access. This proves that they are greedy thieves as they will threaten to call the police and refuse to act as adults when trying to deal with a situation. Jonathan is very contemptuous and doesn't listen to understand he only hears you speaking waiting to have a rebuttal to the conversation. Him and his wife are not on the same page and are saying 2 different things when speaking with them. They constantly talk over you as you are trying to speak with them. This is no way to have a conversation with some one that is paying you for a a service. His wife has threatened a previous instructor in front of parents and students and the police was involved asking my family questions about the situation so for them to act as if there has not been anything prior and all has been perfect is BS (a FOIA request could be made for the report that was opened). I have asked that they remove any images or likeness of my daughter off of their social media pages with no response but I am sure after this they will have something to say regarding. If she was outed from the school then I don't want her affiliated in any way or for her videos and pictures to be posted with them. I have been nothing but calm and respectful in this whole ordeal even when they were being disrespectful towards me. This is my first and thank god last interaction with this establishment as I could NEVER support a business where I pay good money and they feel they can talk to you and treat you however they see fit. They have threatened legal action for a review being left stating FACTS which the receipts are there for. I'm sure they'll state I was rude and disrespectful BUT I have the entire interaction recorded to have proof as well as having a witness on the phone with me while I had the conversation. Since Ohio is a single party state this is something that is not illegal and I can post if they say anything other than the truth. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! PS- If you want to take legal action against me for speaking up and for this review then do as you see fit. I have the necessary resources and evidence. The price for lessons with Sean is extremely reasonable too; a quote I received from a popular dance studio in North Canton was over $500 for five 1-hour sessions. It's worth it to arrive early just for peace of mind you can find a spot and not be rushed while parallel parking. I wouldn't recommend it as a spot to super last minute book a class. I've attended a few yoga classes and had a wonderful experience. I continuously meet inviting and engaging teachers that actually understand the type of yoga they're teaching. The class sizes are intentionally small and extremely low-pressure. That type of environment alone is enough to make me want to return. Its genuinely a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that meets you where you're at. As someone with physical limitations, I always feel comfortable here and never feel pressured to be something I'm not.

BOOKING CLASSES -- Use their website. I had a ClassPass membership back then so I used my ClassPass credits to book the Reformer class. As of the writing of this review, in July 2026, BeFitness is no longer on ClassPass so guests will need to buy a single class package or a membership directly from BeFitness. A friend told me that they got rid of their Class Pass contract a while ago now. (Side-note: ClassPass is an app that allows members to book classes at different fitness studios and have the option to also access gyms and spas across various cities). REFORMER CLASS -- Anyone that has done a Reformer class knows that it is challenging, especially at 5am. The instructor was good because she provided understandable cues of what to do for each move/exercise. The instructor was enthusiastic as well. Having now taken other Reformer Pilates classes at a different Pilates studio in Avon and Bay Village, I definitely do not think the Reformer Pilates class at Be Fitness was as hard as the others that I've taken elsewhere. Nonetheless, I still recommend BeFitness if you live in the area and are looking for a beginner and intermediate friendly class. The Reformer Pilates class that I took at a different studio was a more advanced class. TIP (Reformer Pilates) -- The good thing about Reformer Pilates is that you can always adjust the resistance straps to increase or decrease the amount of resistance (weight) that you are pulling. SERVICE -- I remember the check-in process being smooth when I entered and the front desk woman greeted me (she was also the instructor). Overall, I enjoyed the Reformer Pilates class. Similar to many fitness studios, they sometimes have deals/sales so join their email list or visit them on social media to stay informed with current discounts.
