I like when they put movies for kids to keep them entertained,it's not always the case since it's mainly men in there. But they try and I appreciate that. The guys are friendly. If it was just adults and people not bringing in there kids or even little girls waiting for their dads or brothers then it would be fine. Great barber for men's hair cuts. Very friendly and professional. My hair cut came out amazing.

The salon was clean and neat inside and professional looking. The wait time for my walk-in visit was minimal. I received a punch card to get a free haircut on my 10th visit. Kristine did an excellent job cutting my 5 year old son's hair. She was very good with asking questions about what I wanted during the whole process. She engaged in friendly conversation with myself and my son. He was given a small toy at the end of the haircut. At one point she dropped a comb onto the floor, and got out a fresh one instead of picking it up to reuse as I've seen (and walked out of!) other salons do. I personally got my long hair cut here. I watched them cut my girlfriends hair in the chair next to me. We both have long hair. Our hair was so JACKED UP that there was NO WAY to even fix it. The 'stylist' took bangs and twisted them in the middle of the forehead and blunt cut the bottom. The only solution was to wait for the ALFALFA haircuts to grow out. They even COMPLAINED to YELP saying to remove the negative review because I wasn't present to watch the haircut debacle. I WAS PRESENT and I GOT A JACKED UP HAIRCUT as well as WATCHED THEM TOTAL someone else's hair. They may be good at fades, barbering and other items BUT for long hair, cutting a straight line or being a stylist that can actually cut a fashionable haircut....that was missing during the time I was sitting in this salon getting my haircut and watching my girlfriends cut. This place is Deaf friendly, I love it! First of all I made my appointment through VP at my work and it was easily scheduled. I asked for Marina because I met her at previous ASL socials we've been to. Marina, the hair dresser that did my hair knows ASL and she recognized me and started signing right when I walked into the salon. It really made me feel welcomed! While I was there, the whole staff was very nice to me and the atmosphere in this place is very sweet and friendly. Their website has good specials, you need to keep an eye on their specials. My son, who's 6, and I have been getting our hair cut here for the past 6-8 months. They do a really good job, and I highly recommend them. Neither one of us has what I'd consider complicated cuts or anything, but I always like the results. Furthermore, I really appreciate the way they treat my son because I know it's not always easy to deal with little kids in this situation. Special shout out to Robert too, as he always cuts my son's hair. First, my son always looks great when Robert is done; and second, Robert is very personable and easy-going, which puts my son at ease...which has not always been the case when he has gotten his hair cut in the past. I was referred by a friend to come here . I came the first time in the beginning of the year and Denise did my hair. She did a great job. So I kept coming back every 6-8 weeks like normal and every time I make an appointment with her she's never here to do my hair. I'll wait around for 30min to an hour after my appointment and then someone else has to trim my hair. It's crazy and management should be to blame. And sometimes I call to make an app. And they say she's sick or on vacation. But it seems like she's always sick or on vacation. Hi, i went in a while ago and yes i did write a review when my hair was damaged, and the customer service was horrible...I'm only on here once again to acknowledge future or current customers to please be very careful...I came in for the Ombre and left with my hair completely broken and damaged, did not receive and good customer service, not even a hi...Valerie did my hair, she never tested my hair first to see what level bleach my hair needed...assuming my hair needed a certain kind and we know every customers hair is different...she didn't talk to me the whole three hours she was doing my hair, which left me feeling extremely uncomfortable...she never offered to try and fix the damage, not even cut my hair in which it broke off and left it completely wet...i spoke to the owner and he refused to give me a refund and if anything gave excuses after excuses for his employees...I'm not here to bash anyone, but i have been getting my hair done for years and have never experienced anything like this...Please be very careful...I only gave one star because i had no other choice but to choose a star...and well at least they kept the place clean... read more
