I think we waited around 15 minutes before our order was ready to go and it still warm when we made it back to our hotel. The beef bulgogi and pork jeyuk were nicely packed with sides of seasoned bean sprouts, edamame, Kim chee and some greens. The purple rice was quite different but good. We tried both the Korean Chili and BBQ sauces and those paired well with the meats. Overall was a very filling meal and worth a repeat.

The layout is a combination of convenience and grocery store. Shelves of shelf stable snacks and coolers of drinks plus a hot food station, small meat counter, fresh produce, wine/beer section, coffee counter, and even a deli station. All of the above is in a small footprint, but it is laid out quite nicely. Easy flow and navigable. The space is well kept conditionally and kept very clean. Pricing was a tad higher than the neighboring Tesco, but you are paying for the experience here just as much as the product. Service was friendly and welcoming from entry to exit. Overall, wildly impressed with Donnybrook Fair, and definitely recommend swinging by when in the Stillorgan area!

I've actually been going to this one for years! even my mom used to bringme down here when i was an awkward child and lived on brown bread nuts and celery for the first few years of my life! (freak child i know!) this place was a great shop to pick up a wide range of nuts back then, i suppose you can get the everywhere now but i still have a loyalty to the shop now. it does all the normal health food shop stuff too but instead fo going into holland and barrett across the way it is of course always better to support an irish shop like melanie said.

My review therefore, is based on this location, though the vendors are more or less the same everywhere. Last year it was every Thursday, this year I have been on Fridays. On a bright day, there is no place better to grab your lunch. The perfect setting that is the canal allows you to soak up the weather and some of the most picturesque surroundings Dublin has to offer. As far as the food goes, this is probably the most comprehensive I've seen. Unlike the Dun Laoighre market which is quite limited in choice, this one offers everything including hog roasts, fish and chips, kebabs, paella, burgers, curries, noodles, cakes, ice-cream; the list goes on, but basically, no matter what you're into, or what particular craving is niggling at you that day, this place will cater for it. The only issue is deciding. I have no complaints about this market whatsoever; prices start at about seven euro. The only suggestion I would make is to get down at twelve or so to beat the lunchtime business rush. And if you can't make it to Grand Canal, fear not as these guys are all over the place.

She sees the blank look on my face and says "forget it, I'll get it". We go into the Health Shoppe where the very knowledgeable lady behind the counter provides the moss and suitable advice, the place is full with all sorts of healthy things as you would expect, wifey liked it a lot. I couldn't see any mars-bars so lost interest.

It's pretty much your run-of-the-mill health shop with all the usual trimmings you'd expect -very healthy produce, with more "exotic" items than that which you'd find at Tesco, but the similar health food shop prices that comes with the territory. The lady who owns the place is exceptionally friendly and helpful, so I'd definitely recommend popping in if you have any queries about health food/ supplements etc. It's generally pretty quiet in there so you wont be left waiting in any queues either!

There is the normal firm tofu, Basil Tofu, Feta-like tofu, and Chicken Substitute Tofu. They also have a nice array of fruits and vegetables. *Note - most of the stuff here is super expensive; however their herb selection is priced very well and at a great value. So definitely pick up your fresh herbs here. They also have great specialty items like Tahini, just know you're paying an arm and a leg. Worth it if you really need to made a kick-butt hummus.

A nice fruit and vegetable shop…read more Having discovered this row of food shops around the corner on Upper Rathmines Road, whenever we call up here to get some meat or seafood, we go to Field & Vine for our fruit and vegetables. Like with it's neighbours Lawlors or Connollys, F&V is not the cheapest shop of its kind in the city, but they do stock quality. And fresh veg too, like beetroot. I've recently started using fresh beetroot and F&V was the first place I've found it in. Evergreen on Wexford street only had the vacuum packed peeled beetroot the last time I was there. Their Queens potatoes were delicious also. They also sell cheese and cured meats, as well as other artisan foodstuffs. Recommended.
