Trish is one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met--she can recite the biochemical properties of all the supplements she recommends--very impressive.

Twice in my life I have had two dogs both with injuries to their backs for different reasons. We…read morelive in a rural area and my one elderly dog ran to run after a rabbit she jumped off the porch and didn't clear it she was a small heinz 47 dog that had a long back. She never would have hurt the rabbit just wanted to run with it. She ran aside them before. She didn't clear the porch and her back was broken. I had to make a stretcher to get her to our vet. Our vet was excellent but said she had to be put to sleep. I took her to 3 other well respected vets that said the same thing. Then I was so desperate I called a mobile vet. I never heard of I didn't want to lose this beautiful loving dog. She said the same thing best to put asleep. I said please isn't there something can be done. She told me she doesn't know if it could work but she is hearing acupuncture may do what they can't do. She told me she didn't know of any but maybe I could find one. I did it was a small ride and the doctor there looked at her x rays and treated her gave me two different kinds of medicines and told me to try to keep her still so we put a fluffy comforter down and fenced off a small hall way with pee pee pads. He set an appointment to see her again in a week we bought her for another treatment and in a week after that (2 total weeks) she was standing and getting about a little but it was obviously working. We went for one more acupuncture treatment. Some medicine and Elfie recovered her back had a noticable bend to it but she returned to walking again and eventually running. I thought it was a true miracle. She lived happily walking and running, giving and getting love for another few years. Then a decade later I got a puppy that was 1/2 cane corso and went from a baby to 80 pounds always healthy always agile. Went to bed healthy and when we woke up she couldn't stand she didn't have the use of her 2 back legs. There was no yelping or screaming and it seemed crazy how could this happen. My husband carried her into the car and to the vet's where the vet did an x-ray and found she had bad spondylosis that never until that morning ever even show any visible discomfort to her with walking, running, never limping or anything till that morning where out of the blue she couldn't move her legs. The vet told us we could try surgery that would be at the very least $10,000 and might not work or put her to sleep. I told the vet I didn't want to do either I shared the story of our Elfie and said I'm going to see if that acupuncture vet is still there. We carried her into his office he treated her and using a sling she was able to stand & walk using only her front legs, but wouldn't be able to without the assist. The next week we still used the sling but it was apparent one of her legs resumed some strength. We took her for a few more visits and she no longer needed a sling she was able to walk again on her own. I never believed in acupuncture but now whenever I see a dog who may be put down I try to advise people there is a very good chance of hope I have seen 2 miracles in my lifetime of 2 beautiful dogs that would have had their lives ended by what is considered the best of care. The vet that I owe both my dogs their lives to is Dr. Gerald Johnson of the Silverthorne Animal Clinic located at 14263 Powell Rd, Spring Hill, FL 34609 Their phone # is (352)345-4830. I am so thankful for the wonderful years added to their lives that my dogs received only because of his practice. He has another wonderful woman vet there too and I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was truly very good & very caring. All I can say is you will get wonderful care there that truly works and in my case literally saved my both dogs lives!

If you are looking for exceptional, compassionate and knowledgeable care for your pet, then I…read morehighly recommend the very skilled owner Jill. Our 7 year old dog has had anxiety and some pain issues related to being highly active as a working farm dog. 1 Reki massage session with Jill is all it took and we saw an amazing difference in her anxiety and demeanor. So much so we booked another session . Highly recommend, and Jill's pricing is very reasonable. Thank you Jill for helping Oni feel so much better! We will see you again soon!

My 10+ year old dog Finnegan, a large Great Pyrenees mix, had lateral suture surgery on both of his…read morehind legs on the same day to stabilize his knees. The trauma was further multiplied when the callous on his elbow burst, and next when he became lethargic and we found out that the NSAIDs may have caused possible liver and kidney issues. He also was emotionally out of sorts and would not venture out in his beloved back yard where he had once ruled the roost. The cascading health events caused a delay in the mobility therapy I had planned for him. I felt overwhelmed until I found Jill at Paws and Tails Reiki & Therapeutic Massage. After clearing with the surgeon, I bought a package of Reiki and massage. I can honestly say it has not only helped Finn with mobility, stress, and healing, but it has helped me too so that I can be armed with knowledge, healing homework, and tools to manage both of our stress levels brought about by the traumatic health issues. Jill's kindness mixed with professional experience has helped both Finn and I cope with this trying experience. Thank you so much Jill for all your help so far. I really especially enjoy watching you work your magic during massage and loosening up that facia! The pro tips are golden and much appreciated including "inch worms" head to tail, support knee and hock while working on PT's prescribed range of motion exercises while being careful never to dig into the groin, flexing foot exercises, healing hands when in proper frame of mind and doing the all-important light work, meditation, that is part of Reiki, etc. Thank you for your patience, wisdom, tutorial/instructions using charts, diagrams, 3d skeleton, all conveyed with both big words and in layman's terms. It is all very much appreciated and we are looking forward to our next session! You are an absolute gem! So glad we found you!
