If you're a Dog lover and consider your Dog family. Please don't consider this Property. They have a very Vicious PitBull attacking Dogs and nothing is being done. In fact the office is covering up the fact that my nephew was viciously attacked almost killed and the owner of the dog works in the office. There has been no accountability what so ever. My nephew now suffers from ptsd and anxiety. He has to take medication just to go for walks. And the Dog that attacked him is still on the property and nothing is being done. I have loved this place from the time I noticed the facade, I see it everyday on my commute so it wasn't far fetched for me to pick this place to tour on my apartment hunt. I did my research & everything seemed to be on par with what I want out of an apartment & community, but baby the staff. The staff. THE. STAFF. No ma'am. First of all the conversation with the leasing agent leading up to me coming already left a sour taste in my mouth but I didn't let that deter me from visiting because again everything else was on par with what I wanted. I toured two units & while one didn't really meet my standards the other did. As we toured she made me feel as though it was really feel like telling me about the place, I had questions & concerns & I just felt like I wasn't given quality treatment & they only proved me right when they sent me four quotes for the wrong unit. I followed up with several emails requesting the right quote for the right unit & never heard back. From my view of the units it's actually not bad, I hate the balcony though that wood seems cheap & looks unfinished. The walls aren't the greatest you will be able to hear your neighbors but I'm sure with your own noise you could probably drown the sound out. read more

I lived here for two years and overall I had a good experience. My building faced the forest and it was pretty quiet. Every time I needed help, the front office helped me out. The only negative thing is that they don't have security cameras around the complex and a few things got stolen like my bike. Besides that one incidence, everything was great. read more

Although it's a very beautiful apartment, I would URGE you to keep looking! Don't believe the hype. I have been dealing with what has become the worst experience of my stay here. This certainly has to be a cheap build. I have been complaining since last year about my upstairs neighbor and with no changes or ACCOUNTABILITY. I've had to resort to sleeping with air pods in, my bathroom air on, and my stove vent at the same time. I have sent audio clips of the sounds I've had to tolerate and getting the typical crappy response from staff (except Antoinette). It's March and until my lease ends at the end of the year (unless I break it and spend $750 because of the poor insulation) the problem persists and is insufferable. PLEASE spend your hard earned money somewhere else. NO ONE should have to deal with this on a daily basis. No one! If it weren't for Ms T's comment, I would have thought I was the dramatic one. Anyone who has ever lived in an apartment community understands that there are a lot of good and a few bad as it relates to noise concern. Thats not why I'm here! I am here because I lived at this community and was one of the first residents to move in. I have seen a few managers and staff come and go. Let me just say I have never experienced a manager as hateful, mean spirited, condescending, rude, territorial, insecure as Jamie Kopczynski. Let me insert that I paid my rent on time per my contract and prior to her arrival had no issues with staff! I submitted my 60 day notice but retracted 30 days later after testing positive for Covid. I called the office and spoke with her to simply ask for more time as I was sick. This was the most unsympathetic, disingenuous, fake caring conversation. She insisted on telling me that some guy rented the apartment and liked the view/location of my apartment. He has never been inside because I was the first and only tenant. I understand business matters and after all they are there to lease apartments.... But this lady recommended I move out of my apartment and move to another apartment, same square ft. My question was since I already live here, wouldn't it make sense to give him the vacant unit!! This insecure dwarf continued to go back and forth with me via email. (will post them if anyone wants to see them) This lady showed no empathy and insisted I get out because she'd rented my apartment to some guy who lived out of town!!! Wait I thought you said he and his family were moving here from out of town!! Guys Every conversation I had with her was exhausting and did not get better! She insisted on making a point to force me out!! The part that really made me angry was when she sent the details about my COVID status in email and cc'd staff! I was livid! What I am about to describe is an extremely weird issue to have in an apartment, but anyone considering living here needs to know. The issue that I'm having: I moved here in January 2020 and have only been able to sleep in my bedroom a few times. I have had to sleep on my living room couch for the majority of my stay here. Why? Because the fan in the bedroom in the apartment below mine makes a humming noise that can be heard IN MY APARTMENT ABOVE IT. Yes, you read that correctly. I can hear the fan in the apartment below. An explanation of the noise and origin: In the bedrooms of the apartments here they have very cheap fans. When they are put on the highest setting, it creates a humming noise that can be heard in the apartment above it. If you put your hand to the floor, you can even feel the vibrations from the fan. If you just walk into the room and listen to the noise, its something that you could probably learn to ignore (not that you should have to when you're paying $1200 a month for an apartment). The biggest problem is that the sound is magnified when you lay down on your bed, if you have a traditional bed with springs. This is likely because of the vibrations caused by the fan. Since the bed is on the floor, the noise is magnified through the springs in the mattress, and that's my biggest issue. This issue is the result of a cheap fan + cheap insulation. What I have tried to do to resolve the issue: I told management about this and, not surprisingly, I'm not the 1st person to complain about it. They claim that only a few people have, but I don't believe that. After I told them, management came to my apartment building, put the fan in the apartment below mine on the highest setting, and we verified that it was the cause of the noise in my bedroom. They then contacted their management company about replacing it and after about a week, they came back to me and said that it isn't something they'd pay to replace. Me being reasonable, told them that I would cover the replacement costs to put a better quality fan in the apartment bedroom below mine. They then came back to me with another excuse on why it couldn't be replaced. They told me that the person in the apartment below mine refused to have a FREE FAN UPGRADE TO THEIR APARTMENT. WHO TF WOULD REFUSE A FREE UPGRADE?!?!? I personally think this is bs because they have done maintenance to my apartment and I had no say in whether or not I wanted it done. My theory on why they refuse to replace the fan: As I said earlier, they put the same cheap fan in every bedroom. This means that this noise can be heard in any upper level apartment when the fan in the bedroom below is put on the highest setting. As I also mentioned earlier, I am not the 1st person to complain about this issue. If they start replacing fans, then they could end up having to replace the fan in every apartment and that would get expensive. From a business standpoint I get the logic. Unfortunately, as a consumer spending $1200 a month for a luxury apartment, it is unacceptable that I have to sleep on my living room couch. My recommendation to anyone considering living here and wanting to be on an upper level floor: When you go on a tour, ask them to put the fans in the bedrooms for the apartment below on high so that you can hear the annoying noise they create. When you are listening to the humming noise, remember that it is magnified when you lay in bed (if you have a traditional mattress with springs. No idea how the noise sounds if you don't) If they say they can't, I recommend not purchasing the apartment. Don't end up like me and have to sleep on your living room couch To the management: I have been patient with you, but this is unacceptable. I've lived in a few different apartments before moving to this community and I've never been more pleased and happy to call a place home than here at The Haven at Rivergate. From our first impression on tour with Maxie, we knew that this was the place for us. The apartments are brand new and have such a stunning design that all of our guests love. Our two bedroom is so spacious we love the community that we're able to create with our new space. The leasing staff communicates well with the residents, the maintenance staff has been excellent, and all of the hallways and common spaces are clean and well-kept. Every neighbor that I've met has been friendly and kind, we're so so thankful. read more

About a month ago a lightning stroke our building and set the roof on fire, a week later, despite we were not one of the apartments directly affected, we were asked to leave/vacate the building "because the city said so" never received an official letter explaining the reasons, little notice, the apartment offered is terrible, the new neighbors are noisy, the breezeway is very dark at night and looks horrible. moved here in november. was super excited because this is my first apartment and i live all alone. it was also cool to be the first person to live in a brand new apartment! and they look beautiful. madison was super sweet to me about the whole moving process and was super helpful and was the one person i've dealt with here that never gave me issues. it started as a super proud moment for me but was VERY QUICKLY switched to a very annoying, very awful experience. i started realizing the downside of being the first one to live in my apt (although i believe this could've been avoided), having to swifter the floors 5 times to not feel like i was picking up dust on my feet and vacuuming the carpets twice. also had to run the ice machine several times before actually being able to use the ice because there were black specks in the ice? also random things like a bump in the linoleum floor and weird plastic wrap on sides of the fridge and screws on the patio. they probably should've done a better sweep through of the apartments before leasing them in my opinion. the absolute worst part of my experience living here is i have had to deal with noise from all surrounding tenants daily. some days it's so frustrating i'm to the point of tears. and i honestly believe it's not the neighbors fault but the poor insulation. i can literally make out peoples phone conversations and the bands they are listening to. it's ridiculous. some of the amenities have just this month become available, but still no dog park and no pool, which i get the pool, but i moved here specifically for the dog park. and was told everything would be done and ready in december. once again, i get it, it takes time. but with the construction still going on it's so so so hard to be excited about anything anymore. the people dealing with all of this nonsense should've been offered compensation for putting up with the hassle of noise, waiting, and parking issues. but i guess a "thank you" email has to suffice...? lol. the dishwasher as well as the washer and dryer are cheap and hardly do a good job cleaning your dishes and clothes. i usually have to run the dishwasher twice and the washer always gets lint all over my clothes and the hot and warm settings don't even work. these apartments are overpriced because they look really nice from the outside and even the inside, that's how they got me, but they are not worth the money. the crime in this area is also super sketchy. a car was stolen, others broken into. overall do not feel safe here. not the complex fault. just the area. no matter the amount of times i've complained for noise, unless i pay an absurd amount of money to break lease, i am stuck here until my lease is up. i cannot WAIT to move out and have the true, POSITIVE, proud of living on my own experience that i rightfully deserve. definitely learned my lesson of what happens when you move to a place that has 0 reviews... if you can survive with ear plugs and put up with all other things mentioned, i'm sure you'd be fine here. but it would really take a special kind of person to have no complaints here. hope this helps! happy hunting. best wishes to you. read more

This place is just so disappointing. I moved here almost a year ago there is Construction every single day. The first like five months we lived here we would hear the alarms from the other buildings almost everyday. We're constantly getting emails about where we can park where we can't park because there is construction. It's been over a year since they've been open and they just built the little clubhouse where they actually have an office. In addition the walls are paper thin so you can hear literally everything. We pay almost $1500 a month and there's so many other places we wish we would have lived. Not to mention that since we've lived here cars get broken into constantly, a car got stolen, a tenant was being investigated for a homicide case, packages get stolen, and they just don't seem to really care or inform you. There are so many things that I wish I would've known before moving here. Since I live alone I am very scared here at night. The people who are in charge seem very nice at first but have a horrible attitude once you actually live here. I'm miserable living here and cannot wait until my lease is up. read more
