They have all the modern equipment as well as exercise balls, lockers, towels, free water bottles and even oranges. I've only went to the gym a few times but it was a very pleasant atmosphere. You will usually be the only one in the entire fitness center. I'm very surprised that everyone that stays here does not take advantage of this particular perk. The fitness center is located on the same floor as the salon. And is accessible only with a room card. However you are allowed to bring friends and family and guests with you on the elevator. I suggest next time you or a friend have a room check out the gym.

I like that the megaformer offers variety even within one workout and coming to a studio like this offers movements and workouts that you cannot easily replicate at home. Plus, small class sizes (12 people max?) offer the boutique experience. The instructor was able to provide hands-on modifications and demonstrate the moves on an unoccupied reformer but that would be more difficult if the class was fuller. It seems they have days focusing on different body parts, so depending on which day you choose, you may get less arm workouts but more core and legs or vice versa. Not sure if that information is on the website but there is a calendar with the schedule in the studio. Tip: - There is no warm-up so be on time! - Bring a water bottle and towel if you sweat easily like I do. - Would recommend good sticky socks so you have more stability, especially when you start sweating on your platform. - A great way to try out the class is with one of the $5 teacher-in-training classes!

So you do get a personal trainer experience, however the workouts are not consistently good. Also, when I attended this gym there were times that the trainers were late. One time the trainer was 15 minutes late because he had car issues. I understand that things happen, but when you are paying 50 dollars for a 45 min class...15 min is worth more than a couple of bucks. He did not even mention a reimbursement or tried to make up the 15 minutes we lost. Lastly, if you decide to go to this gym, please read the fine print and check your credit card statement. I noticed they charged me a 30 dollar enrollment fee that was not mentioned anywhere in the contract. I have asked the owner to reimburse me since October and he still has not. Just a heads up if you decide to go to this gym.
