Quick, professional, and will reach out to you in whatever way is easiest (bookkeepers and accountants). My husband and I got married and had no clue how to file - Gina Tallman and Laura Partin made everything easy and even properly educated us on how to get a better refund (or any refund, lol) for the next year, which dramatically reduced how much we owe for 2016. Gina was also helpful with some information when we were buying a house. So grateful for their help and would highly recommend! *I put the same exact review on Google reviews, just FYI!

I read the trust and found that it was a 15 year trust and they released us after I pointed out their incompetency after instructing me to accomplish annual payouts that we were no longer entitled to. Don't bother for the price you pay their accountants they are incompetent. Update: Why call you when you told me I was the administrator of my father in laws trust. I wasn't even named on the original. I had only started assisting dad 6 months earlier when he moved in w us. Well, I did administer the trust to it's finality with no assistance from your very expensive accounting firm.

Tax Edge 365 did my taxes for 4 years but I will not be returneing or recommending them. Here is a…read morequick summary of why you should not use Tax Edge 365: - Will not get your taxes in on time - Will not keep you updated on the status of your taxes - Will file an extension for your taxes - Will not let you know they filed an extension on your taxes - Will not tell you that for filing an extension, if you owe money back, you will be charged interest on it - Will include any interest owed for filing late on their part, into what you owe back to the IRS without telling you. - Triple their prices a month before taxes are due leaving you to scramble Poor communication, having to call a week before April 15th to inquire about the status of my taxes. Call again the day before taxes are due, to be told that Tax Edge 365 "is working on the taxes of people that owe money first, and have filed extensions for everybody else". Why am I having to call a day before the tax deadline to see if this company that I paid $948 to had filed my taxes? An email or a phone call would have gone a long way. Luckily, I know that if you file an extension for taxes, that you have to pay interest on any money you may owe back to the IRS. When I got my tax returns back from Tax Edge, they stated what I owed back to the IRS & state. When I inquired about any interest that would be owed for submitting payment after the deadline, I was told that Tax Edge already built into the price that I owed back to the IRS. The price I owed was not itemized, and there was nowhere on the paperwork that said that that price included interest that I now had to pay because Tax Edge had to file an extension for my taxes - despite me getting everything in on time. Frankly, a shady practice that takes advantage of unknowing customers. When I asked about this, I was offered a "$50 credit toward any future services". They will not let you know if any price increases until it is too late. In February or March of 2022, I received a letter in the mail stating that the payment to file my personal taxes and Schedule C would be almost triple what I had paid the previous year, a new amount in the $900 range. With the rise of inflation and running a small business, I completely understand. Wish I would have received this letter more than 1 to 2 months before taxes were due, and only weeks before the deadline that most CPAs have for customers to get their information in. I was left at the last minute to either scramble to find someone new that was still accepting clients, or pay over $900 to have your company do them (single tax filer with a schedule C). Knowing that you've always taken care of me over the years, I decided to stick with your company. However this new rate did not include the IRS audit protection, which had been included in previous years (and which previously you had to OPT OUT of if you didn't want it). Other prices (1099) increased ($35 to $75) as well, but I was not told until after the fact, despite being a customer for years. Unfortunately the additional costs that I had to pay because they did not get my taxes in on time was when I knew Tax Edge really could do no good. This year has been incredibly frustrating with Tax Edge 365 and I only hope they take steps to set their customers up for success in the future. Personally I will not be returning or recommending them.

I don't even have an adequate vocabulary to describe how traumatizing my experience was! Suffice it to say, if you value being heard and your legitimate tax problems resolved through the advocacy and expertise of a CPA, this is NOT the firm with which you would want to do business. You will pay dearly for this profoundly negative experience! I have worked w a CPA for years until she retired and have never experienced such a dismissive, cavalier approach to tax challenges. When I categorize every receipt for itemized deductions, I certainly don't expect a whole category to be skipped requiring an amended return complicating the situation even further. That is just for starters leaving the horror stories and drama out. . .save yourself a headache. Avoid this place like the plague!!

I had no experience handling taxes and felt I was in good hands. I realize "now" that ultimately when we sign the tax papers, we are responsible for the taxes. I don't feel that there was compassion shown concerning what I went through, having to handle my husband's affairs. Furthermore, we should be all shown compassion for a deceased member of the family, and the grieving process. I was also ill at the same time. I paid good money to have the taxes completed. The SSA-1099 was not sent to me. I had given all tax papers to them except for those forms. The tax preparer knew this but did not tip me off. If I had stayed in the Grand Junction area, I would not use them again. My tax preparer, where I live now, covered me concerning the SSA-1099 forms, so I was not penalized. Now, I know to go online to the SSA website to print off those forms. I so appreciate his compassion and professionalism. I felt disappointed in this firm, and the lack of conscientious. One of my family members who is an accountant shared with me that he feels he must inform his clients of mistakes. I feel this should aways be communicated to help clients out, so they want to continue frequenting their tax business.
