We were not disappointed. We chose the darjeeling tea over the english breakfast tea and enjoyed a ploughman's lunch with Sussex Charmer cheese and a welsh rarebit which my wife says was superb. I couldn't finish the ample portion of my lunch but we both succumbed to the cream tea sundae with clotted cream and strawberries. Forget the diet - this is to die for.

I think while it is called the Old Town Hall Coffee House it was also formerly the Jail, and around the side of the building you can still see the stocks!!
