The design I chose caused a little difficulty with drying and instead of throwing in the towel they continued to start over until it dried. Three times they had to wipe off and start over. Not to mention the absence of drugged up homeless people, litter and boarded up business. Whew! Now that I got that off my chest, after a week and a half of visiting all the amazing museums in the area, my dawgs were BARKIN' and needed some TLC. I randomly picked this spot and my feet are better for it. The technician was friendly and skilled. My toes look great and my tired legs and feet feel refreshed. Price was fair. The spa is clean and spacious. Too noisy for me (radio station pop music) and lots of kids. Is this a deal breaker? No but certainly not "relaxing".

It can be somewhat inconsistent based on who you are with any particular day. However, my thoughts on this are based on my own preference for designs, often slightly more delicate ones. If you're going fairly simple, I wouldn't imagine you would really have issues. It is a relaxing place to be, and the techs are always nice. I do think they're more limited in the colors they offer than most places I've been, and I don't like that, but again, I generally come in wanting fairly specific things.

Which is funny…read morebecause don't you wanna get enough product in your clients hair to advertise it so it can be bought? I don't know it seems like maybe the owner needs to take a marketing management classes on how hair business runs. Unbelievable never have been somewhere so cheap at this point just run the hair salon in ur basement if you can't afford putting enough product in ur clients hair for best results. I was NOT satisfied and didn't get what I asked for I think it's because of the LACK of product applied. I mean I can tell even by reading the review that the owner is a cheapskate and has poor communication skills instead of focusing on customer satisfaction. Maybe then you'd learn that underwhelming service and poor communication don't exactly scream "luxury salon." Reading the owner's responses to reviews alone tells you all you need to know: passive-aggressive, unprofessional, and clearly allergic to accountability. Sad to say, but this place really is for people who think half a pump of mousse is a flex. Unbelievable.

Here is my experience: Location: 9/10 I love that TFB has three locations - KC, OP, and Olathe. I had the pleasure of having Cecilia do my facial. The establishment was easy to find and parking was ample. Bonus points for it being close to my house! Vibes on Deck: 10/10 From the vibey music to the comfortable decor, this place is the ultimate spot to relax. I immediately felt comfortable and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I also enjoyed the natural light from the windows. It is open concept with several tables lined in a row, but I was the only one in there and it was fine. Service: 10/10 I got the Bar Method Facial, which is $65! It was incredible and I was so relaxed! Cecilia is so gentle and does a great job informing you of what product she is using and what it is good for! I also appreciated the facial massage I got, which was heavenly! This was the best 30 minutes I spent today because it was just enough to get my skin glowing while giving me the boost I needed to finish out my day! I also liked that Cecilia made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Products: 9/10 I am not familiar with Rhonda Allison skincare, but Cecilia did a great job explaining what I needed for my skin without being pushy on changing my skin routine. She listened to my needs and there was plenty of product to go around. For the price of what I purchased, it was not too expensive. Overall: 9.5/10 This was an excellent experience and I am SO excited to go back next month! I love how collaborative Cecilia is and she works with your best interest in mind. You owe it to yourself to get a facial!

When I showed up, I asked for a brow threading and classic/cateye lash cluster set and even showed…read moreher the picture that I wanted. The lady told me she didn't have other sizes and only have all medium. I told her I don't want the lashes if she couldn't do the cateye that I wanted. She assure me that she can do it. Before she started on my eyelashes, she did my brow and what is sad was she never gave me the wet tissue for me to wipe my brows so I had to go home and applied some aftercare wipes to my brows. It was a difficult application because I am hard of hearing and can't hear but I heard voices and I had to remind her that I can't hear well (Will not recommend any deaf friends to this salon). After she was done with my eyelashes, I was very unhappy. It was uncomfortable while wearing my glasses and the lashes were not curled up but crooked in so many ways. My left lashes were full and the right was not full. The lady said I didn't have much eyelash hair for the lashes to attach on. That was not true because I didn't have any issues with the last tech who could do it for me. So I ended up paying $60 for this. I'll definitely never return to this place.
