The Anytime Fitness in Boone seems to have a majority of University students, so perhaps their experience doesn't lead them to have higher expectations. My membership will be canceled as of today and I hope the other people using the gym will also expect more.

Friday hours are 5:30 am - 8:00 pm, which is probably fine for most people as I am a weirdo who enjoys a Friday night workout which is out of the norm. On Sat the gym is only open from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, then Sun from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. These weekend hours make it very unlikely I would ever get a workout in on the weekend so it was not worth the membership fees for me.
