Went for a cut and bleach, ended up looking like a four year old did my hair, still orangey in color, even after using the toner for two weeks, and the cut, well, let's just say it will have to grow at least an inch before it can be trimmed even. Last time I go anywhere for a cut/ color with no contacts in and if the person that sets the time can't be bothered to even arrive on time..... oh, and then AFTER the very bad job was sorta complete ( at least,as much as I was willing to wait while other customers were dealt with) I was told that SHE DID NOT take credit cards. Karley Bartlett at The Guild Salon is a genius! I had gone to another salon in Midwest City where I had been going for a while. The stylist was super sweet, though she never got my color right, so I didn't complain. It wasn't terrible. On my last trip to the salon a couple of weeks ago I told the other stylist that I wanted burgundy red mixed with my blonde. She's on my Facebook so I thought she knew what I wanted based on my pictures. She didn't. She dyed my entire head a dark color that my family said was purple and then she put a cap on my head, assuring me she wasn't finished and that she was adding the blonde back to my hair. She pulled my long hair through the cap and added a few blonde streaks. End result? I looked like a skunk. I went home and my family had nothing good to say about my hair so I texted the other stylist a picture of Jessica Simpson with blonde hair on top and dark hair on the bottom and asked if she made my hair look like that if it would be easier to fix. She said it would. So I made an appointment and went back in at 11 am and from then until 3pm she put bleach on my hair three times, waiting for it to turn the right color. After she said it was finished, she turned me around in the chair and said it was a pretty strawberry blonde. My hair was orange and white with purple underneath. I looked like a clown. At that moment I knew that she didn't know how to fix it and any more time in her chair would only make it worse. I had found The Guild Salon on Facebook after seeing the building and thinking the name was cool (because The Guild on Netflix was hilarious). On Facebook Karley had posted some pictures of her work and she had good reviews. So I left the other salon and went straight to The Guild where Karley greeted me and assured me that she could get me in the next day and she could fix it. She did! Karley put foil on my head and weaved in different colors and then added a toner to wash out the orange. She was super sweet, very professional, and a genius. She took my clown hair and made it beautiful! Now I don't have to hide from pictures during Christmas. Thank you, Karley! I wanted to write this review to spread the word about her talents, but I hope she doesn't get too busy to fit me in. Haha! read more

I went in earlier to get a cut and needless to say I will not go back. I stayed polite and paid for my haircut, but as soon as I left I got ahold of another shop to fix what was done to my hair. I understand it is a shop focused on women but as a guy I expect you to be able to do a simple fade. I don't want to blast the woman who cut my hair by name because she was incredibly polite. I wouldn't mention personal details of your life or anything for that matter because IT WILL get repeated. Karley does good hair but definitely is messy and in the drama. I stopped going for this exact reason. It's bad business and very immature. She talks about EVERYONE. She has slandered and defamed me to a few people that I know of. Her life isn't perfect and neither is anyone else's. It's unnecessary. After the first time I let it slide. The second time I heard stuff I confronted her and left a negative review. Not going back or referring people anymore. I've sent plenty of clients her way. I'm just done. read more

I'm new to the area and found this salon on Yelp. I was able to get in the next day with Sage for a color. I am always skeptical about new stylists and generally I get color that is acceptable but not just right. I showed Sage a few pics from Pinterest with the color and shadow root. She works quickly and actually I was slightly worried that she would make a mistake. She washed and toned and etc. And it was perfect! Just what I asked for! I'm honestly shocked bc I never seem to get exactly what I hope for- I figured it was me. Thanks Sage for the awesome color!! read more

I do not recommend Heaven, I can't speak for the rest of the salon, but apparently if you aren't happy with how your hair turns out and you tell her, she gets too "anxious" and won't do it again, nor respond to you via Facebook, personal cell or salon number, when you try to book an appointment because she "doesn't know how to tell you" that she isn't comfortable doing your hair. The situation was handled very poorly and it was completely unprofessional. read more

Megan James is a fabulous hair stylist! She is knowledgeable, skilled, efficient & friendly. Plan ahead, though - she stays pretty booked! This is a wonderful salon - great location, parking, hours and it's always clean and comfortable. There are nail techs as well, but I mainly go for haircut, color & eyebrows. They use fantastic products on your hair and they are available for purchase too. If you're tired of your boring hairstyle or drab color, give The Guild a call a make an appointment with Megan - you will love the new you! read more

I'm brand new to Oklahoma, and I was trying to find a salon that was up to date with the latest hair coloring trends! I've been to a few places back in Little Rock (where we just moved from) and while I never left the salon upset, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. So when I found The Guild Salon on Yelp, I called to make an appointment, the salon as well as the stylists had great reviews! I had the privilege of having Karley Bartlett color my hair today!! This girl is an artist!! I explained to her what I envisioned, and not only did she do what I asked, but she made it look even better than I could have hoped!! She did a beautiful balayage and brightened my hair up!! She is extremely smart and is very professional, but also incredibly friendly!! The salon itself was very clean, nicely decorated, and the rest of the stylists were just as friendly!! The overall experience was amazing!! I was excited to try out a new hair stylist after a friend referral for Karley. I've booked with her twice, she canceled both times due to scheduling conflicts. I normally would not have a problem with sliding a few days but I put off getting it done for over 60 days waiting on the second appointment she rescheduled me for. She texted me and cancelled again, then never responded to any text messages. I'm sure she's a great stylist but good luck getting her to keep an appointment. read more

First time going here and I had Sage cut about 3 inches off my long hair and put some layers in it! She did great! She washed it, cut it, styled it and was there less than an hour! Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because she was 20 mins late for my appt. read more

Went to get my eyebrows waxed and I'm walking away wondering if the girl has ever done eyebrows before. She didn't seem to know what is waxed as a general rule and kept asking me if I wanted something waxed before putting it on my face, she seemed to have trouble pulling the strip without yanking it 3 times, and I had to ask her for the stuff to wipe off the excess wax. I think she was looking to wax the bottom of my brows and call it good, because everything afterward she asked if I wanted too. It was a strange experience, it took too long and it was overcharged. Not worth $10 and 15 minutes. The guild salon should stick to hair. read more
