He also relandscaped the front. he replaced the traditional needles with a new yard, leveling first with fresh soil and fixing the watering system to assure proper watering for all of the new grass and landscaping. we put in three crepe myrtles and three Salvia. He placed them excellently amongst the bushes and plants that were still in good condition. I highly recommend Davis! Ps- he does most of the work himself with a small; crew. so it was great to see him every day and consult on ideas along the way. he has a great eye and we integrated almost all of his suggestions. he is readily reachable too when I had questions or thoughts. I called Bloomhouse Landscape and Irrigation to obtain an estimate to replace 13 sprinkler heads. I was informed that the cost should not exceed $700, if the cost when above that, I would be informed before moving forward. I walked the ground with the two-man team to explain what I needed. The team lead recommended an additional sprinkler head in the back yard. I asked for the cost, and he stated that it should not exceed $100, so I agreed, thinking that the total cost would be around $800. Upon the finish, I walked the ground to check the sprinkler heads. I'm satisfied with the work and provided the lead person with $40 cash, a $20 bonus for each person. Later, I was informed that the bill was $1,881.83, over a $1,000 increase over the estimate. I paid with a check and three (3) days later I still don't have a receipt. I've called the office 3-4 times trying to obtain why the large increase in cost and for a receipt. Still no reply. I won't use this company for any work moving forward. Recommendation to other customers of this company, DO NOT start the work until you have the estimate in writing.

I recently visited The Greenery Garden Centre Gift & Home on Hilton Head Island with clients, shopping for houseplants, garden implements, and garden furniture. Everything is very well organised and spotlessly clean; it was wonderful to see so many flowers and green plants alive and thriving in the midst of winter! There are several sections of outdoor perennials as well as annuals, and many of the flowers are grouped in decorative baskets for gifts, etc. They are in beautiful condition and my clients and I had several discussions on where they might be placed. Pricing appears to be quite fair in comparison to northern Illinois; I did not observe anything too 'cheap' or otherwise. There are several sheds throughout the area with pots, planters, and larger outdoor items; I was very glad to see quite a range of different styles, colours, shapes, and sizes available for purchase. I did not purchase anything requiring delivery, and thus cannot comment on this. It is my understanding that delivery/installation services are either available or that such labour can be recommended. There are also two (2) small boutiques with gift items, many of which were very 'fun' and quite charming; as Easter is approaching I observed some very novel decorations and household items which my clients appreciated. There is also a good range of garden furniture and decorative objects, including trellises, pergole, and the like.
