We dropped our bags on a table and the girl taking orders was helpful and patient with us while we made our choices. Turns out it was pizza night, all you can eat for $15. Husband was in heaven! Technically everyone at the table has to order it, but our girl let me order pasta carbonara. We got our beers and a buzzer for food pickup. The room was busy, but a bunch of tables left and staff stayed on it to clear and set the tables for new customers. Pizza was delivered and shortly after the buzzer went off. Everything was delicious! This place is well worth stopping for food and drink. It's noisy, but in a good way!

Although a little pricey we would definitely come back and eat here again. We had the: 1) half pork ribs in the BBQ sauce - a little dry, so ask for extra sauce 2) Mac and cheese - very tasty with bacon bits 3) chicken wings - best we have tasted out of the USA, although the blue cheese mayo dip was not so good, make sure to ask for a side of ranch. Extensive cocktail list and plenty of beer on tap. Make sure to try the Guava-Tini very nice :)

This is a weird little punk rock cafe that does breakfast, lunch, dinner, and is a bar at night. I…read morecame here last Sunday with my partner for brunch, we were both starving. We sat down and the server took our drink orders immediately, and then we ordered food not too long afterward. The servers were friendly, but the place seemed wayyy understaffed - there were like two or three servers for the whole restaurant, which was completely full on a Sunday morning. Not sure if someone called in sick or if it's usually like that. Our coffee order seemed to take a while, not sure if it actually did or if we were just in need of a warm drink. We waited and waited and waited for our food. We watched the people behind us (who got there after us) receive their orders, and the people around us who had arrived after us, receive theirs. We watched them finish their food, and ours still hadn't arrived. We finished our drinks and one of the guys working there came over to take our cups and ask if we wanted anything else. We told him that we were still waiting on our food, and he went to check on it. Turns out the order was never put through to the kitchen (or, as they said, they were "having problems with the kitchen receiving dockets", which if that is true, they should probably be making sure that each order gets through. Anyway, when the staff found out that our order hadn't been put through, they offered us free bevvies and put our order first in line. I got another soy capp and our food came out miraculously fast after that. I had a breakfast bruschetta, which was alright. Nothing to write home about, but it was alright. Presentation was standard, definitely not insta-worthy, but it's a bruschetta. It was tasty, but standard. My boyfriend ordered the eggs benny and liked his alright as well. All in all, they handled the snaffu pretty well, but servers should be paying enough attention to notice when a table is waiting almost an hour without receiving their meals. Then again, they seemed understaffed, so I'm not sure this would have been possible. I probably wouldn't go back, as there are better cafes in Cronulla that cost the same amount.

My spidey senses tell me there's an American somewhere behind this place. Either that or they found…read moretheir inspiration at McDonalds (in a good way). A perfectly cooked medium rare burger patty with mustard and pickles, and not a beetroot in sight? Trés American. Pulled pork tacos with crackling? That crackling bit might claim an Australian association, but that juicy shredded pork is All American. Now I know why this place is always packed (and it's the crowd that kept me away from this place for so long) but for a Saturday lunch, the turn over was enough that there was always an available seat for anyone walking in. Beer selection is okay. Bottles only, but they had both Asahi and Little Creatures on offer so we were happy. The coffee was okay. Apparently others love it, I would have liked an extra shot in mine. Really good food and a funky atmosphere (old school wooden chairs reprinted and reupholstered with modern fabrics- I sat in a pink wooden chair with skulls). My only complaint is with the fries: they serve the thin shoe string fries that were a bit underdone for my liking. That said, with some salt, they made the perfect vessel for the chipotle aioli.

Personally, I always have trouble deciding & usually end up splitting multiple burgers with friends. I've been eating at Grill'd now for going on 12 years since it's fist location opened on Glenferrie Road in Melbourne. During that time I've found their burgers to be, not only delicious but also perfectly consistent & packed full of super fresh ingredients. As a result it's easy to tell that the guys here genuinely care about the product they send out to your table. Grill'd burgers are from a nutritional stand point, relatively healthy. These bad boys certainly won't leave you feeling heavy or bloated which for me, is a major win. Most of the burgers here only pack a respectable 500/600 calories. Sure, add a side of chips to that & your cranking it up a notch, but that being said it's impossible to dine here & not bask in the glory that are their herb seasoned chips. My personal favourite? A lamb burger dubbed the 'Glorious Goats Cheese' consisting of grass fed lean lamb, Meredith Dairy goats cheese, hummus & salad. This burger is big, hearty & packs a certain creaminess that I find to be the heart & soul of the burger. Other honourable mentions include the 'Simon Say's' burger, packed with a grilled chicken breast, avocado, crispy trim bacon, salad, relish & herbed mayo. All in all, I'm a proud Grill'd groupie & would certainly recommend trying one of their many branches now dotted around the country. You won't be disappointed.
