Customer service was AWESOME! Good conversation while standing in line and I only was waiting for about 4 minutes TOPS. Especially considering I had this when I went to food truck Tuesday I have to say that is impressive. You absolutely MUST to try the Shrimp'Po Boy. It may not look the best in my photo but you will NOT be disappointed. I was little weary of the sauce at first but it had a nice spicy/butter kick to it. I was very pleased! It filled me up too. Looking at the pricing at a glance seems unreasonable but once you taste the food and see the portions you'll see the prices are justifiable. They have a pretty extensive menu. We had the pleasure of having this food truck at our work today. I chose the lamb gyro and my associate tried the bang-bang shrimp po-boy. My gyro was very tasty and had just the right amount of meat and fixings on it. The Greek dressing was tasty and the tzatziki was just right. The po-boy was more underwhelming. The shrimp was tasty but the slaw was not that great. They have lots of options on their menu for a food truck, but they happen to be sold out of many things even though we visited towards the beginning of the lunch. One of the better food trucks around I really enjoy the Great Foodini! This review is entirely based off my experiences with them at the Larkinville Food Truck Tuesday event, but I have always had good experiences with their food. The staff is very friendly, and I love that the ordering takes place outside of the truck rather than at the window, because it helps them and the customer to streamline and keeps lines short and food coming out! Highlights here include their gyros, quesadillas, and their bbq chicken wraps! All are fantastic and always a solid choice for me when I can't decide what I want to eat. Pricing is good too with most sandwiches and wraps costing around $9/10 each. They've got sides and drinks as well. Good food truck and good food I'd definitely recommend them! read more

They have very unique dishes and if you are open to trying new food I would recommend anything on the menu. The greatest thing about this truck is the variety of food. There truly is something for everyone; carnivores, herbivores, pescetarians, and even that guy who only eats deep fried food. The Great Foodini offers a variety of salads, wraps, quesadillas, Po Boys, and sides such as hand cut fries, battered mushrooms, and buffalo spring rolls. The hand cut fries are def on point, tasty and inexpensive. Once you see the portions and actually taste the food, I think most would agree that the prices are fair, despite some comments here. Another Tuesday, another across the way to Larkin Square for food truck Tuesday's! Thanks to a terribly extra long work day I ended up walking over to this event twice (I really need to stop) and on my first trip over I settled on finally eating at The Great Foodini! Thanks to showing up to the event a little before the opening I was able to be the first customer of the day when ordering my chicken and cheese quesadilla. The employee taking my order was friendly and the quesadilla itself only took about 3 minutes to come out fresh and ready. The price was pretty reasonable for a food truck (food truck prices are usually not cheap, everyone should know this by now) and the quesadilla is pretty massive at that. With 2 sauces on the side, fresh chicken, cheesy cheese, and a tasty wrap to go with it, this quesadilla was absolutely delicious from the first bite to the last. This food truck was at my job yesterday. They are definitely one of my favorite food trucks. I get a limited amount of time for lunch and this truck lets you text your order ahead of time, AND a pick up time of your own choosing, as long as you text the head chef by 10am. They have so many great items to choose from. I ordered the steak and cheese spring rolls. They were 2/$6 and come two to a package so I split the order with a coworker. They didn't have the gravy that the menu said it would come with. Instead it cane with a horseradish sauce. My coworker said it was mild but it was a bit spicy for me. Those "spring rolls" should be called eggs rolls or crunch wraps because they're so huge. They're honestly twice the size of egg rolls. I dug right in, so I didn't get a picture. I also ordered the Foodini Taco Salad. It was a bit pricy at $12 but you get what you pay for. The chef makes his own nacho chips and placed them on the bottom. On top of that is ground beef, lettuce, onions, sour cream, tomatoes, olives, and cheese. Most tacos salads are huge and come inside an edible taco bowl. This one didn't, the chips were on the bottom, but I loved it. It was quite delicious, satisfying, and more than enough for a couple meals. I love this food truck so much! Ordered the steak and cheese quesadilla which is described as shredded sirloin steak topped with lettuce tomato onion and Italian dressing over melted cheddar jack cheese. First of all $9 for a quesadilla served on a 10" tortilla folded in 1/2 is a bit much. What I got was slices of sub par steak-umm (not chopped) with the above mentioned ingredients light on the cheese and soggy. I ate one piece and picked the fatty meat product out of the other pieces to eat a light cheese soggy quesadilla. I worked in food service in the past and cooked frozen sliced rib eye for steak subs. This was just gross. I hope they will re-evaluate this menu item. read more

We tried them at the Olcott Beach fireworks display on the 3rd. I've never eaten from a food truck before, but prices are comparable to carnival food and portions are generous. We bought way more fries than we needed. The cheese fries are good, and have a little bit of a kick to them. My husband enjoyed his Italian sausage, and one of my sons liked his hot dog. The other just had fries. My stepdaughter went the low cal route with a salad. They have an impressive variety of other items including hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and numerous quesadillas. Great food, generous portions but SLOW. I go to this truck Fridays throughout the summer when they come to the medical campus and their quesadillas and beer battered mushrooms are incredible. They give you a ton of food and it is fresh. As I mentioned though they are extremely slow in handing out food and often the numbers are called out of order which leads to a lot of frustration with patrons. read more

Not a bad truck to get some decent food from. They come nearby a few times a month, and I've been a few times. I've gotten their Buffalo Fries, deep fried mushrooms and their staple: The Shrimp Po' Boy! Their fries are always hand cut and freshly fried. They do leave them slightly soaked with grease, but overall they weren't bad. The Buffalo Fries are their fries topped with Frank's hot sauce and blue cheese crumbles - "Can I have some fries with my blue cheese, please?" - if you love blue cheese, then THIS is for you! Didn't think I'd ever pay $7 for fries, but apparently the Foodini has mystical powers. My favorite thing I've had so far from The Great Foodini, is with out a doubt are their deep fried mushrooms - it's gotta be the batter! They come along with ranch, but I opted for their bang bang sauce instead and let me tell you ...it is literally finger licking good. Not bad at all for $5! However, the Shrimp Po' Boy was in my opinion, slightly overpriced. For $10, I expected maybe a little more shrimp or even a side of fries would have been cool. It is good, but it maybe a little overrated. It comes on a toasted hoagie roll with coleslaw underneath the fried shrimp covered with bang bang sauce - messy but that was expected, but I wasn't completely satisfied. This review is specific to the Bang-Bang Shrimp: First off delicious! The sauce is a spicy coconut-buffalo sauce with just the right amount of spice. Second though, way overpriced for a food truck food. 7 salad sized shrimp for $8! While the dish was good I will not purchase again as I find this to be a bit of a rip off. Tried the buffalo spring rolls. They came with a runny blue cheese dipping sauce. The actual roll had a good "buffalo" smell to it, but the filling didn't have any of those flavors. Worse, the chicken tasted like and had the consistency of canned chicken breast (which is one thing when you're making wing dip at home, but IMO is an unacceptable ingredient for a food truck or restaurant).
