He verbally put her down in front of the whole crowd that was about to go to the course. Extremely unprofessional and I feel like if y'all have a high turnover rate, it's because of Ben. The gentleman in the ropes course, I wish I could remember his name. He was so kind and professional, he would joke with the younger kids and make them laugh, go out on the course in a moments notice to help someone, and was all around in a good mood. He was having a good time and making sure the customers were too. So was the younger girl that Ben verbally attacked in front of everyone. Both the staff in the tree tops were fantastic, extremely helpful, and a pleasure to be around. I do feel bad for anyone that has to work with Ben though. If he was my manager I would quit before the first day was over.

Spend a few hours in the tree tops and get a challenging workout (if you try the advanced courses)…read more Navitat is a great outdoor activity for all ages. It combines a ropes course that utilizes climbing safety gear with a zip lining course. There are several levels from beginner to advanced. Each course has obstacles that require you to walk/maneuver across. The course is designed so your are always locked onto a cable system that is very stable. So, you can "fall" and be okay. I've seen small kids to older people doing these courses and it's a lot of fun. If you are strong/tough, you can still find some pretty intense challenges here. I was sweating on their advanced one because it requires a good bit of strength and balance in some places. But, my 11 year old son managed it. So, it's not overly crazy. Staff are top notch. I've been here about 5 times over the past 2 years and they've always done a thorough initial training and made sure you're comfortable. Also, they have good advice and a positive attitude. Tips/random things: 1) wear closed top shoes. If you forget, they have some extras. 2) they have water and cups at the center hub that leads to the rope courses. 3) free lockers for your phone, wallet, etc. 4) helmets, gloves, harness/gear is provided. 5) you can reserve a time online or just go to Ijams and do it there. I've done it both ways. 6) If you go a lot, they have a membership and punch pass option. 7) they offer evening times and the course is illuminated with Christmas lights. 8) Ijams has free EV charging if you drive an EV. Overall: Love it. Glad we have Navitat in Knoxville! Highly recommended.

Great professional staff and safety is their #1 priority. Located right in the city, just a short drive to get there. This is the most open cavern I have ever been in and you almost feel like you are in a dark warehouse, it's so big! No "tight" spaces of any kind. Heights might be your issue if that is a concern. If you have any climbing, repelling, spelunking, or exploring experience, this is a "walk in the park" for you. No experience is needed and they take care of everything. All you have to do is zip when you're told. Have fun! Shoutout to Bethany M., an excellent staff member.

Online booking mentions that it is a 2.5hr experience but with a smaller group of 8, it only took 1.5hr for all the zip lines. Overall a very fun experience and great with big groups! The Bad: Do not get the picture package!! The picture is taken at a standing platform after one of the zip lines, not an action shot!! The Ugly: It felt a little sketchy going down the barren hallway. It was a 5 min walk that felt like you were going through an industrial hallway and it just felt out of place to keep going if the signs were not there. On to my next adventure....

Review only relates to activities and meal because we did not stay overnight. We were surprised to…read morelearn that you don't need to spent the night to reserve activities, archery and ax throwing, along with dinning. The property is gorgeous, flowers everywhere and various water features. Definitely felt like we'd stepped right into The Shire. The staff was super friendly and helped us through the property and explained what access we had as non-guests. Ax throwing and archery were really fun and not crowded, each group had dedicated lanes. After our hour was up we migrated to the dinning area and all sat at our separate tables. Meals are seated together with a pre planned menu. Food tasted great. Since you prepay for the meal and activity there is no waiting for the check. But remember to tip the staff because that's not included in the prepayment. They have a jar on the entry table to the dinning room. Would love to return to as a guest and get the full experience.

We recently visited Ancient Lore for the dinner and movie experience. We were excited for the…read moreevening and, given the premium price, expected a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the food--it was absolutely fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the movie experience was disappointing. The seating was uncomfortable, and from our original seats it was difficult to see the screen. We eventually moved to the chairs at the front for a better view, but they were even less comfortable. The biggest issue was the noise. Several overnight guests remained in the viewing area talking throughout the beginning of the movie instead of watching it. Their conversations were loud enough that we could barely hear the film. While a staff member did ask them to be quieter, the talking continued until well over halfway through the movie, making it difficult to enjoy the experience we had paid for. I was also disappointed with the drinks. The photos made them appear to be around 8-10 ounces, but they seemed to be only about 5-6 ounces. At $12 each, they did not feel like a good value and were not what I expected based on the advertising. After our visit, I reached out to management privately to share these concerns because I wanted to give them the opportunity to address the issues before posting a public review. Unfortunately, I never received a response. The lack of communication was disappointing and is the primary reason I decided to leave a two-star review. Overall, the food was grewt, but the uncomfortable seating, lack of a quiet viewing environment, the disappointing value of the drinks, and the absence of any response from management left us feeling that the overall experience did not justify the cost. I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed so future guests can fully enjoy what has the potential to be a wonderful evening.

We had a 2pm start (1:30pm arrival) and were the only people registered so private ebike tour for us. TJ was our guide and he was training someone so we ended up with 2 guides, which was great. Both of them were very knowledgable about Asheville, nature (i learned what poison ivy looks like) and biking. It took me a few minutes to get my ebike bearings, but then were off. The first part of the ride was on gravel, which was a little tricky, but it was all good when we hit the road. It also started raining and we got pretty wet...i couldn't decide if the rain made the ride miserable or more fun. Maybe both! The biking itself wasn't too hard and honestly we probably could have done it on regular bikes and gotten a workout, but i do find ebiking super fun. We stopped a few times, which helped with our sore butts and learned about the area. A few hours later we said goodbye to our new friends and headed back to Asheville (about an hour away). They also offer many other activities like white water rafting so recommended if you're looking for a little adventure.
