The worst Apple store I've ever been to…read more - I had a faulty iPhone, confirmed by the tech at the Genius bar as well as the tech on the phone. I was given a replacement. That died several weeks later. Another faulty phone. Another replacement. Then several weeks later that phone died. So I went to the Sydney Apple Store, where the Genius Bar tech was actually horrified I was onto my fourth replacement, and that I kept being given faulty replacements. Amazingly enough, the replacement from Sydney worked perfectly for two years. - My wireless keyboard died. I took it to Apple, and they replaced it. With a keyboard that was filthy (black gunk on keys, dust and dirt smears) and never worked once. When I returned, I insisted upon a brand new keyboard (as all Genius Bar replacements are refurbished products), which worked perfectly. So, whoever is refurbishing the products at Apple Charlestown is doing a really, really bad job. - They did a flawless repair of my Mac Mini - replacing the optical drive - in roughly 24 hours. - Almost all the staff are super nice, friendly and helpful. For repairs, this store is fine. For replacements, go to Sydney, as whomever is providing the refurbished replacements is doing a really bad job.
