Upon first visiting the pub, I noticed an instantly friendly family atmosphere. The decor is all modern, with a lovely calming fish tank in the wall & local pictures such as the Donington Race Track. The pub has a restuarant attached to it, which I am yet to try. It looked very busy, with people waiting for a table which is always a good sign. The food smelt good as well! The drinks were at the going rate for the area, however I think it has a lot more to give than other local competition with wooden decking (along with spotlights) on the front which would be great to sit around in the summer.

Maybe it's because I'm a huge champion of independents but this was probably more expensive than some of the amazing indie restaurants that Derby has to offer with half the atmosphere.
