I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! If you're looking for a place to explore your creative side, I highly recommend checking out the Art Center. Great value for 8 weeks art class at $280

Many of the students are planning to go back for the same week next summer. He learned how to make his own pieces and glaze them. I highly suggest checking this place out.

To my dismay, not only the door was closed I had to scramble around to find out later the camp was canceled and they failed to notify me in advance. It was a significant inconvenience to me being that I had to bring my daughter in to work with me until I could make spur of the moment back up care. It's a crying shame that they neglected to notify me and due to past shortcomings with this place I can definitely declare that I shall never enroll my child again with this establishment. My husband and I cannot entrust an establishment with the care of our child with this type of poor service. If I was not insistent on obtaining a refund they would continue to disappoint and provide substandard care.

They completed an unauthorized $249 fee on my cc and when asked why Coach Al simply said I can return it no problem as we have other children on the waiting list. This also happened to another mom that I met that same day who was unsure about enrolling her child as well. Completely unethical business practices. My son wanted to go here badly so against my better judgement I thought to try it out for at least a month. Didn't last a week: There were a host of other problems: conducting additional classes with more kids that they never tell you about ( separate from after school program - karate class only) and cramming the after school kids in a small room in the back, who sit on the floor, with nothing to do while all this shouting is going on). telling my son on day 4 that he was irresponsible and couldn't play on his tablet b/c he didn't clean his cubby. When I asked another coach about this he said that the kids have certain policies that they have to abide by and if they don't they get points taken away. I asked him for copy of said policies and he said it's not written anywhere. So I send my son to a afterschool program to be disciplined by teenagers for not cleaning a cubby and he sits there for an hour with nothing to do all the while kids in the next room are being taught karate....loudly. There are no written policies, I'm sure no license to operate an after school program with this many kids and extremely poor communication in a shoddy make shift space with patched holes in the walls. When I questioned their practices over and over again the coach said well this is clearly not the right place for your son and I will refund you your money right now. Not, here is a copy of our policies and how can we make this right since our discipline practices make you feel uncomfortable. Oh and not to mention, they will not allow you to tour their space while classes are in session (hey don't want you to see how many kids are crammed in there) and will not allow you to come in the space if you just wanted to check in on your kid - also saying this is against their policy??? If my son wasn't so eager to try this place we would not have had to endure this nightmare. Parents beware!
