She'll turn your baby into a toddler which you will love/hate :p I also have older that went here and I can say that Mrs. Jeanette and Mrs. Jessica were quickly favored. Even the teachers aids are great. They always put up new photos and charts to show what the kids have been doing and if I have any issues the director Stephanie, and the assistant director Gretchen are are wonderful, attentive leaders who get down in the trenches with their co-workers. They emphasize requiring children to work out their problems themselves. In spirit, this appears to be a great tool to equip children to become resourceful and accountable adults. In hindsight, this emphasis is built on a utility the school uses to separate children from their parents on an emotional level. This school is EXACTLY what we were trying to avoid in the public school system. This school believes they are better equipped to raise your children than you are, and when you are able to recognize this, you see it in everything they do. For example, parents are not allowed to speak to teachers without using the school's provided communication systems (which do not allow you to keep a backup of for your own records.) No personal emails, text messages, phone calls, or the like -- they want to monitor every exchange parents have with any employee of the school and they retain and control all access to these communications. In multiple interactions with administration, it became highly apparent that this school is harboring some highly narcissistic and mentally deranged people. Please, for the sake of your children, run far away! We did, and couldn't be happier. We only wish we had not made this mistake at all.

Ms. Jodie's background as a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute is evident in the wonderful art experiences she creates for the children. The projects are thoughtful and imaginative, with an emphasis on exploration, creativity, and genuine self expression. My daughter takes great pride in what she creates, and it has been a joy to watch her artistic confidence develop. I also value that the children learn to respectfully interact with Ms. Jodie's patient dog and cat. Under her supervision, they develop kindness, gentleness, and respect for animals. I believe these are important lessons that extend far beyond daycare. Perhaps the greatest compliment I can give is that my daughter genuinely loves going each day. She comes home happy, full of stories, excited to show us what she created, and eager to return the next morning. They do so much more than simply watch the kids. When my daughter was a baby, they helped us establish a sleep schedule. As she has grown, they have worked with her on using utensils, letters and numbers, sharing, playing nicely with other children, and all of those little everyday skills that are so important at this age. Most recently, Jodie & Sue helped potty train her in about ONE MONTH. As a parent, that alone deserves five stars! They also provide structure and discipline, which is something I specifically want from the person caring for my child. In the more than two years my daughter has attended, I have never witnessed yelling at or mistreating a child. They set boundaries and expectations and teach the kids appropriate behavior. And ultimately, my daughter tells me everything I need to know. She loves Jodie and Sue. She loves her friends there. She talks about them at home, is happy there, and has absolutely thrived. It was such a great experience that the next year we moved her into five days. The next year pre-K, kindergarten and then added child number two and eventually child number three. We have got to experience many different styles of teaching, grades, and also how it's different between girls and boys but one clear message is the same: that you are loved and that God loves you. The Education is excellent. It's also really fun to see organized sports, arts and extra curricular activities beginning within the school at the early ages too! We have loved it, and if you quickly do the math for three children, you can easily see that it is beyond worth it to us!!!
