In February a trip to Cooperstown, the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame is scheduled. In May, a weekend at West Point. Last month, a ski trip to Elk Mountain. It doesn't get much better than this for kids 12 to 18. They learned great knife skills, safe handling and cooking of meat, how to read and then measure from many types of recipes and they did it along with some other children in their age groups. The teachers were phenomenal and so nurturing and the facilities are extremely clean and organized. At the end of each day, we were able to see and taste with them what they made. I highly recommend this particular Young Chef's Academy as a great way to teach your children culinary skills targeted at their specific age levels.
