A little update as 3rd daughter started at Goddard 4 months ago when she was 15 months old and she is THRIVING! She is in the toddler class with Ms. Bri and is always so excited to go to school. Bri is so warm and loving and provides such a safe and fun environment for my daughter. She communicates extremely well and sends lot of cute photos throughout the day. It's always hard sending your kiddo to school not knowing how they will adjust - even if it's the 3rd time you've done it! So seeing them excited at school is so reassuring as a parent. My middle child just moved up to PreK with one of our favorite teachers, Ms. Nicci! My oldest had her a few different times while she was at Goddard and we are so excited to be back in her class. Our daughter started school at Goddard in May of this year (2025). We have had such an amazing experience so far. One of the main reasons we chose this school is because they were not afraid and were willing to take her while she still had an NG feeding tube. Thankfully, she only needed it for one more month while at Goddard, but that spoke volumes to us. We never have to wonder if our child is safe and loved at Goddard. Even at only 9 months old, we can tell how much she loves to come here. The teachers are very thorough with notetaking and uploading it to the app daily. It is so easy to check on her progress throughout the day (feedings, diaper changes, naps) and we look forward to seeing pictures of her throughout the day! The Goddard school for us has been our saving grace. Truly the best school, the best teachers, the best environment. I love everyone there, even the teachers who aren't my kids teachers. You walk in and it's not like a regular school, it's held to a higher standard and we immediately felt that when we did the tour 1.5 years ago. The quality of the teachers and administrators is very low. This "school" really isn't even that, it is a glorified daycare where the teachers are either overwhelmed, lazy or both. They consistently send kids home for the slightest infractions. The admins here seem to think that all children are the same and should behave accordingly. I have two children currently enrolled with one of my children constantly being singled out by his "teacher" which leads to my son being sent home. My some is 4 years old and has no real behavioral issues with the exception of being a little impulsive at times, but instead of correcting the behavior they seem to just want to get rid of the "problem". The last incident for me was the straw that broke the camels back. Either the "teacher", the admins or both fabricated a story about my son picking up a toy gun, pointing it at the "teacher" and saying that he was going to "shoot & kill" her. My son does not know the concept of killing and does not know that guns are a tool that can be used for killing as we do not allow out toddlers to watch anything remotely violent or having to do with guns. When I pressed the admin and asked why were there toy guns in the school in the first place, she began to stammer and stutter and basically said that she misspoke and that there are no toy guns in the school. She basically, said that the object was a toy that you can make shapes with. This story seemed outrageous and far fetched and it seemed as though it were a fabrication just to make them look virtuous. When I asked if true, why they thought that a 4 year year old holding a toy and saying what they claimed he said was a credible threat, they stated that they have to take all threats of that nature seriously. The admin I was speaking with did came off as a person that has little to no intelligence. For $2800 a month I expect better a lot better. When I told them that we cannot continue to have our work days interrupted to pick up our son every time he does or says something they don't like, I was told that at the end of the day the Goddard "school" is a business and needs to be run accordingly. I would not ever recommend anyone send their children here as they have made it clear that the only thing that matters to them is the dollars, always the dollars and not shaping young minds for the betterment of the child or the future of this country. How can children learn from their mistakes if not given the proper guidance? Currently looking for other options for our kids as my confidence in their ability to teach has plummeted. Side note. There is another child at this school that constantly harasses my 4 year old daughter using physical violence. When asked about injuries or other marks that she comes home with she always said that the same kid is the perpetrator. My daughter has been stabbed in the belly with a pencil, bitten & hit with ZERO incident reports. This is criminal if true, but then how would we know with an inept team such as this **Update** In response to the out of touch, canned response from the "owner" If the things that were written in response to my review were true the school would have done more to work with our children instead of just dismissing them because of "bad behaviors". Furthermore you people only have one (1) teacher to watch over 15 kids and I highly doubt that one teacher is capable of managing such a large class on her own. It is clear that you people DO NOT care about the kids otherwise my daughter wouldn't have come home with injuries and complaining that another student stabbed her in the stomach with a pencil. Honestly your condescending response just goes to show your blatant disregard for the REAL issues you folks face. The ones program at The Goddard School on Warner has been absolutely amazing! Ms Megan, Ms Cassy, Ms Llisel, and Ms Penny have all been so loving to my son. They've help foster and grow his love of learning. He comes home and does things like: asking to wash hands before I ask him, throwing trash away, trying to push chairs in, and picking up his toys. At 20 months he knows a bunch of animal sounds, most of his body parts (including elbow, which is his favorite), and his vocabulary has exploded. Anytime a parent asks where my toddler is going for daycare I proudly and happily recommend this place! My son started at 15 months and I was a bit hesitant as a first time parent ... but they quickly left me feeling reassured. I love how they fill our toddlers day with indoor and outdoor activities, and send us cute photos throughout the day, and log every single meal, snack, nap, and diaper change. I feel very confident he's in good hands each morning when I drop him off and when I pick him back up he often does not want to leave his classroom which I take as a good sign! We switched to this Goddard a little more than a year ago and have been incredibly happy with the switch (we came from a Montessori school). Our second child requires more structure in his day as opposed to the laissez-faire attitude of the Montessori which led to a variety of bad behaviors. Thankfully Goddard offers structure and a schedule which has allowed him to thrive in this environment. The teachers and administration always do a great job communicating with us. Yes, we have received a couple of reports of bad behavior but the teachers work with us on those issues. The extra programs have been great for our kid to join, plus pizza Fridays are a hit. It's unfortunate to read some of the negative reviews as we have never experienced any of those poor interactions. We have attended and loved the Goddard School for over 1 year. Drop off and pick up is safe and seamless. There is a great, consistent group of teachers and not much turnover. We love Ms Kayla and know that she takes great care of our child like her own! The school has a diverse curriculum and they do so many fun and educational activities. The staff is very communicative about the lesson plans and send tons of photos and videos every day. Goddard school gives plenty of exposure to music, art, play, socialization, etc and we see the difference in our child. The school is flexible and offers full time, part time, all day, and half day rates with an actually noticeable price difference between the different offerings. I have taken my daughter to Goddard (Warner location) for going on a year now and we've had the best experience with the owners, Karen & Keith, and the staff. Karen, Cherice, and Becca have been so helpful and accommodating. The teachers are seriously THE BEST, and with multiple teachers in the classroom they are able to safely monitor the kids and provide an excellent experience. I love the the daily schedule and pictures that are sent to us going over everything they learned from cognitive development to motor skills and so much more. I will start off with saying how PICKY I am when it comes to my children. I looked at 5 other childcare and Montessori facilities before finally finding this school for my then 2 and 3 yr olds! My kids had never been to school before so this was a huge step for us and I wanted to make sure they were going to the best and would be taken care of by the best. The front office - amazing. It was actually because of the initial kindness of Kaleigh and Becca when I first walked in for my tour that I knew I was in the right place. Another HUGE thing for us was how accommodating and understanding the school was. I literally would call every 2 hours to check on my kids for the first 2-3 weeks while they adjusted and never once did they make me feel like I was a burden. In fact they were SO understanding and kind and helped through that tough time. Even today when one of my kids have a rough day I'll call and the school will gladly go back and check on them and report back with updates to reassure me! I also had some minor requests when it came to changing time etc and the teachers and front office were more than happy to work with me! That is where this place is GOLD! KAYLA and JENNA run the small two year old class where my son started and we love them! Kayla was actually the first teacher I spoke to when I was on my tour and she was amazing and so comforting to me as a first time mama sending her babies to school! My son is now in BRIE's class which is the older two year olds and we love her just as much! We were initially nervous my son wouldn't do well with the transition since he loved his old class but he did wonderful and Brie was amazing and he loves her too now! KAYLA JENNA AND BRIE for the two year olds are a WIN if you get them as your teacher, they are all balls of energy and wonderful with the kids. My daughter started in ALEX and MADDY's class for 3 yr olds, and they are both amazing as well. Alex teaches the kids the beginning steps of being self reliant while still staying on their level and having fun with them and cheering them on!! While Maddy is the definition of a ball of sunshine and my daughter is OBSESSED with her, she truly is one of the kindest calmest most loving souls. When my daughter turned 4 she transitioned to NICCI's class and again we were nervous about the change but omgooodnes my daughter loves her new class and Nicci! She literally comes home and tells me how nice Nicci is and how she wants to go to her class tomorrow. Nicci is very motherly, patient, and loving with my daughter which is everything and more to me! She also does some really cool science experiments and projects with the kids! I've also meet the owner Jake on multiple occasions and we've spoken on many different topics including my children's future and he's given me some solid advice for when they go off to elementary school in regards to finding the right schools and smooth transitions etc. He too is wonderful. I am VERY critical of daycares. I stayed home with my son for 2.5 years, and decided I was ready to go back part time only if I could find the perfect place to leave my son. The owners, Keith and Karen are the right people for the job. It is apparent every single day I drop off my son. They are engaged with the classrooms, and on point with communication. I pick him up and drop him off at different times, depending on my schedule, and there has not been ONE SINGLE DAY that I havent observed the classrooms, and the instructors involvement and attitudes with the children. My son leaves almost daily telling everyone he loves them and blowing kisses. I pray the ownership never changes and this level of care and professionalism is maintained, because I've never been more pleased with a care facility. On a side note....my oldest is 6, and we went through the ringer looking for care when he was an infant. (In Chicago) I know what I'm looking for, and if you dont have the same experience, I highly recommend being honest and sitting down to discuss with the Keith or Karen. read more
