My child attended Goddard from NB-PreK and loved every minute of it! The teachers were always caring and invested in my child's growth. If I could give them more stars I would! This school has been a blessing to our family. I LOVE how genuine and kind the staff are. I'm always greeted with smiles by each staff member and my daughter adores her teacher. My daughter is in second grade and attends their after school program. Theirs is the first after school program where I feel I actually get my money's worth. At another center in town that my daughter previously attended, it was always complete chaos when I picked her up. No sign of engagement between the staff and the students and no structure. At Goddard, her teacher (Ms. Katie) shows a genuine interest in the kids and they ensure that homework and reading assignments (from school) are completed before moving onto the fun activities they plan for the kids. THATS RIGHT! They actually plan fun art and science activities and let the kids have a say in what activities they plan. The smaller kids also look very happy and it is clear that they are well cared for by the more than capable staff. We also get a daily email report of what activities she did and adorable pics to document her day. We look forward to picking her up and talking to Alpa ( the center director) and the rest of the staff. read more

We have loved The Goddard School since we started our daughter at 8 weeks. She is now 2 and 1/2 and we couldn't be more pleased! She is greeted by all staff members with a smile. She LOVES going to "school" every day! The small class sizes are great and the curriculum is amazing! She has just flourished and even had to be moved up early because she was just soaking up all the information Goddard provides! The new owners have immediately come in and made it even better! They obviously know what parents worry about and their goal is to put our minds at ease so we know that our kids are getting the BEST care possible in a warm, loving environment! When searching for the right childcare we did our research. We looked into and visited numerous facilities and The Goddard School is the one that just felt right. We had no idea what an amazing decision we had made until our child got started there...and then COVID-19 hit. Since the change in ownership, I have seen a change in the environment of the daycare in a positive direction. Woohoo is right! I used to struggle getting my toddler out of the door in the morning to go to school, but since she began attending Goddard she has been helping me out the door. This is truly the best pre-school program in the nation. My wife and I have done LOTS and I mean LOTS of research and we could not find anything better than The Goddard System. We moved here from California and of course worried about our kids making friends and finding the right school. We are so happy we found Goddard of Flower Mound. I have nothing but great things to say about the school from the teachers, administrators, to the facilities. My boys love going everyday. It's so nice to not have to deal with the kids crying because they don't want to go to school. We also love the extras Goddard does like bringing in a soccer coach to teach soccer, field trips, parents night (they watch your kids one Friday a month while the parents get a date night). We have been attending The Goddard School for 3 years. My son has loved going everyday and even asks to go on Saturdays. Each teacher has been great, working hard to engage my energetic son and provide an investigative learning environment. I love the interaction between the preschool and after school kids. Giving them more opportunities learn from their peers. The teachers have kept a portfolio filled with assessments and projects showing his growth for the past 3 years. That was fun to get at PreK Graduation. They also send several pictures throughout the day about what is happening in the class along with the daily curriculum. All the teachers are loving to all the children. This is very important to me. It really has helped make my son feel comfortable and an anxious mommy comfortable leaving her child in a positive loving environment. The teachers provide a formal parent teacher conference 2 times/ school year and are available and absolutely approachable to address any concerns you may have. We were initially skeptical as it was our first time putting our children. All I can say is that not only is the staff amazing but the front is always welcoming and friendly. It's hard leaving your kids but the pictures throughout the day especially, during late afternoon its a great pick up. I have a 4 month old little baby! I was extremely nervous to bring him to a school but the teachers were very welcoming and put my mind at ease. Getting the pictures in the middle of day always made the last couple hours of the day easier,. It was great to see that he was happy and well taken care of. It is such a nice feeling knowing that your child is getting the individual attention they need everyday. The management is always so helpful and easy to talk to I never feel left in the dark about anything going on at the school. I really love all the parent involvement activities they do for us especially like the recent one, grandparents day, my mom loved her present! I have a 7 month old little boy and he has been enrolled here since the end of January. We LOVE this school and our son loves his teachers! He smiles and gets excited every morning when we walk into his classroom. He has made so many friends even though he is so little. Every single evening we get a detailed report that includes all of the neat things he learned and did that day. I also love all of the cute pictures I receive through their email system while I am at work! I seriously can't say enough about the staff. The owner has been so amazing to us since the beginning. Every staff member is very polite, friendly and professional. The infant classroom is very clean and organized. There has not been high turnover with teachers. The child to teacher ratio is perfect. This school is seriously a hundred times better than any other school in the area. I have a friend who's baby attends the Goddard location in Southlake and have heard amazing things about that location as well. read more

Syllabus, teaching philosophy, and facility are great. Original teachers were excellent but school has experienced almost full turnover in 3 months. Owner and management are not good. I was overbilled and the owner refused to discuss this (I was quoted one price for a prorated month and then this changed). When I told her I would be making a complaint, my children were expelled from the school that day! Parents are required to give 2 weeks notice - but it did not work the other way. Also, the school mismanaged more things than I can count. The worst example is when my son was given some nuts. He has peanut allergies. When I complained to the school, they said I had not told them about it. We pulled out the enrollment paperwork and there it was marked in multiple spots with underlining and exclamation marks! We left Goddard because we were deeply unhappy with the quality of teachers my son recently has had. There wasn't any consistency in his classroom. He was being moved from classroom to classroom because the school couldn't keep up with the number of teachers who were leaving. In our opinion the good teachers left. As far as we could tell, his more recent teacher didn't have a curriculum. We usually had artwork or worksheets to bring home but haven't seen anything for at least a month to two months. And sure enough, when we picked up his binder of school work on his last day, there wasn't any recent school work in it - not since his last good teacher left. My son really enjoys art and science projects and learning new things. It's a shame that he missed all that in his last couple of months at Goddard. My mistake was not withdrawing him from Goddard fast enough. I noticed that most of his classmates were leaving so I should've taken the hint. Also, his teacher lacked warmth and didn't seem to have a nurturing bone in her body. I could tell he wasn't thrilled with her and in fact stopped talking at school - noticeable enough that even the teacher asked if he talked at home. Our son is quite the chatterbox at home and he was at school as well until he got the new teacher. It was quite concerning for us. I was so unhappy with the school that I deleted a raving review I posted online several months back when we had great teachers. I didn't want that post to mislead any parents looking for a good, high quality day care. Goddard might've been that at one point but no longer. The management of it was terrible. We complained but even with that not much was done or corrected. I guess management didn't care enough about its Goddard families. I hope Goddard makes the improvements it needs to make its families happy again and to live up to what they advertise. Currently, they have fallen terribly short of their promises. read more
