This gigantic reproduction of a conch, the symbol of Key West, sits in front of Key West High School on Flagler Avenue. Welded from scrap metal in 1986 by the high school shop class, the conch stands nearly 19 feet high and is 14 feet wide. It is an impressive, immense structure!
