Lovely garden center with a nice variety of plants. All of the employees were super helpful and checked up on us. The indoor portion had a decent amount of pots and garden decor. read more

Just found out Driftwood Garden Centers 1 year warranty is worthless if you don't live here full time. Even though I have a person take care of my place while I'm gone. I live next door to this place and have been doing business with this company for five years. It was convenient and a golf cart ride away. The man I dealt with was pretty rude when he questioned me about just returning and who took care of the vines while I was gone. I didn't go all male Karen on him I just took back my receipts and will go somewhere else from now on. For some reason this is showing I'm from California. That crazy! I'm in Estero Fl and Indiana the rest of the year. read more

Love Driftwood!! The employees are always helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The plants always look perfect and they last. I'm a big fan read more

Great prices on beautiful, healthy plants. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Always worth the 50 mile roundtrip drive!

Great selection and very friendly and helpful staff. They have really unique pots and yard decor.

I echo the compliments stated in other reviews. The biggest thing for me is their plants thrive in my garden. I have bought elsewhere and not been as lucky. So they are my go to plant nursery now. Excellent staff. Very knowledgeable. Excellent selection of plants and trees. Sometimes I just go there to admire the gorgeous blooms. read more

The AC guys trampled the plants around my old outside unit. I took a cutting to Driftwood and their outside staff immediately knew what it was and how to plant a replacement. Both bushes. Friendly. Prices seemed fair. No upsell. Also gave me tips on how to fertilize my palms. Ill go back. read more

The prices are outrageously overpriced. Not just the plants outside, but the vases, pots, decor inside as well. I suggest looking elsewhere- Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart- their prices beat this store by a long shot. read more

Received a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered, from someone who ordered over the phone. They were beautiful -- very fresh and well put together (this coming from a past florist). Well done! read more

Don't buy milkweed for your monarchs. It is treated and/or grown with pesticides. They claim they their supplier doesn't used pesticides but the milkweed may have come in contact with other plants during shipping. They suggest to be safe rinse leaves multiple times and or wait for possible pesticides to work through the plants before letting monarchs feed. DRIFTWOOD please find a different supplier. 100% of monarch caterpillars died. read more

Went today for gardenia & jasmine plants. Also, purchased a lavender plant and ceramic pots, soil & fertilizer. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Other reviews compared the prices but I couldn't find these plants at the Home Depot/Lowes. So I think this place is priced well considering they offer items not available at the home improvement stores. I was pressed for time but definitely want to return when I have more time to browse. They have everything you need for your yard/patio. Lawn chairs, patio sets, decorative items like statues, garden flags & wind chimes. Just to name a few. This place is huge. And they have no shortage of employees. Well staffed. If you are looking for anything for your garden or backyard this place has to have it! Definitely recommend!! read more

Was able to find a rare form of rosemary and lavender with fantastic customer service. Will return again soon read more

Stopped in over the weekend to purchase some new plants. Nelia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back.

I went looking for a ceramic pot, and came home with two pots, a plant and potting soil. I don't know if the prices were good, I had a pot design in mind and they had it. LOTS of pots, as a matter of fact. But I am happy with the outcome. read more

Love this place! They have unique plantings and beautiful ornaments/seating for your yard. The staff is unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful. Planning to be an even more frequent customer as my beautiful Sanibel yard (that was) needs major help after Ian. read more

The store itself has endless options of plants, pots, garden ornaments, soil etc What really stood out was the customer service. I was having a pretty bad day, which led me to go buy a plant. Gabrielle helped me find a plant, and a perfect pot for it. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and shares her love with other people.Because of her, I'll for sure be back read more

The Garden Place - Swiss Cheese Pothos and Pot from Driftwood - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Estero, Florida

Very good selection of plants and everything else one might need to make their yard shine. Plenty of staff around to ask questions. And they are all glad to help. Will def go back read more

What a wonderful selection they have. I've been obsessed with house plants lately so when I arrived and saw all the great selection (hoya) i was in plant heaven. Lol Unfortunately every plant i wanted was infected with mealybug ughhh!!!' I wanted so many plants, but i can't take that chance. I have so many plants indoor.. I spoke to two employees about it, but they just shrugged it off like it's normal. Maybe it is ‍ just triple check your plants read more

Love the personal service I received. Mason took time to help and explain some of my questions about bonsai trees. Another staff member mentioned a good organic potting soil. It has been amazing! read more

My father purchased a tree , paid to have it delivered, planted and staked which more than doubled the price . He was willing to pay because he wanted the experts to plant it. Jason, the man who planted the tree was rude and short with our questions. Driftwood will no longer have our business. read more

We visited here to buy plants for a butterfly garden. The place is amazing because they have a love of butterflies and they don't spray the plants with chemicals that would kill the butterflies. I found all the plants I needed and then some! My hubby found a few too! Great place! read more

Always have a great selection! I never leave empty handed, I always get cacti and succulents there and many more houseplants.

We went to Driftwood to buy indoor trees & plants. Being new to the area we didn't mind paying the higher price for the knowledge of what would thrive and do best in these specific areas instead of going to a home depot or Lowes. We even paid extra for the delivery and planting. Unfortunately, the knowledge was not there. One of the trees and one of the plants died within a couple of weeks. When I called the manager Bobby told us to bad we were stuck. I guess we will be going to home depot after all. read more

This is one of the better gardens/nurseries I've been to. Everything is well kept and the place is nice and organized. The only downside is that the plants are a lot pricier than what you'd find at Home Depot or Lowe's. read more

Bought 4 citrus trees each with a 1 year guarantee. 3 did great, 1 died, Bobby would not honor the guarantee. Because we leave for part of the summer and have the trees on an irrigation system, it was our fault, "customer neglect". From Bobby's attitude, this is probably the response to every claim. read more

We placed an on-line delivery order for my mother-in-law. Since we are out of the area, the nursery contacted us to be sure that it was a valid purchase-really appreciate them taking the time to check. The arrangement arrived as scheduled and from the photos, looked beautiful. I plan to visit this nursery next time we are in the area! read more

This place is wonderful! So much selection. The prices are reasonable. I live out of state now but visited again and picked up some small plants to bring back home. Love it and will come back when I'm in town again! read more

The entire staff at Driftwood go out of their way to assist customers ... from the people at the front cash registers to those caring for the plants outside. One very special lady is Judy Mercer, who has kindly helped revitalize some of my orchids that were on "life support," repotting them and explaining why they were nearly dead. Clearly, this is not a big money-maker for the store but providing this kind of customer service is something you can't find anywhere else. In the past, they have also cut drainage holes in pots (purchased elsewhere) that had none. Without charge! In a sort of personal experiment, on occasion, I've planted Driftwood plants next to slightly cheaper ones from Home Depot or Lowes. The Driftwood plants grow tall and thrive - the others are kind of iffy at best. I always request Driftwood gift cards from family for Christmas. You can see why it is my favorite store in our area. read more

My go to garden center! The staff is very friendly. Steve is knowledgeable and takes the time to make thoughtful suggestions. I go out of my way to buy plants here even if another store is closer. They have a great assortment of herbs and milkweed that hasn't been treated with pesticides. read more

I am a 50 year male who is just starting out with gardening / planting.... I know nothing, but had some questions on the condition of my orchards..... Do not get Mary! very condescending.... "ice cubes don't fall from the sky" when I told her that I have been told to water them with ice..... has an answer for everything, and speaks to you like you are 7 years old. Even called me "buddy".... nasty experience... even said "you can say it to my face.... im right here"....as I walked away to pay for the plants I picked out.... a real cocky ass.... will not be back read more

I have been going there for years. I went there today for some Koi fish and was dumbfounded to see that only ONE employee was wearing a mask. I understand it's a garden center (open air) but I felt completely vulnerable and unsafe. They don't respect their customers enough. I won't be going back. read more

This is a very nice garden center with excellent quality products. It's probably a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for here. I've always found what I've been looking for her and have purchased things I tried to find elsewhere, but never found until I go to Driftwood. They have an excellent inventory of plants and great customer service too. read more

The Naples driftwood team just planted my purchase at our home. The guys were amazing. Competent friendly and helpful. The assistance at the store was just as great-everyone working together for the best options. Glad we used them. read more

Nursery is great and staff is always helpful and quick to ask if you need anything. They have a great selection of small plants up to shrubs. They even have a great selection of pots. Both big and small. They have a great selection of succulents and cactuses. Would definitely rather do business with them than the major stores like Home Depot or Lowes. read more

Really have enjoyed pictures & specials on Instagram prior to my first visit. Despite the $$$ indication on prices I got 4 plants; an Ixoria $10.99 that was less expensive than Lowe's, a beautiful orchid on sale for $19.99, a rare monster $9.99 that I saw at Edison Ford plant sale for $35 and a lovely Bromeliad $9.99. Very healthy strong plants. They have a very large supply of pots but not the hanging tericota pot I was looking for. I am looking for a pot that has a flat side to hang on my lanai filled with my string of pearls succulent. The employees were very helpful in answering questions about plants and locating plants that I couldn't find. All wearing masks. I was struck by how many employees there were and asked how many employees they have. A young man said both locations totaled 100. Also had a great selection of plant stands. I will be back. In fact became a member. There are two locations. I went to the Estero location. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff are ready to answer any questions, and it's a nice environment to roam around in. I bought some koi, rocks for my pond, and a water lily plant. All are of excellent quality. Highly recommended. read more

Came here from out of town to buy a gift. Excellent customer service and the plants were beautiful. Large selection of pottery. These guys went out of their way to help us out, especially Todd. read more

This place is gigantic and their plants are gorgeous. A little more expensive than some other garden centers. They will also plant a tree/plants- the cost is half of whatever the plant cost (so a $100 tree costs $50 to install). They have TONS of fountains (not sure if they are pricey as I know very little about fountains) and garden decor like statues and wall-hanging decorations. They have a nice fairy garden setup and a large variety of air plants, ferns, little and big cacti/succulents, and a really nice variety of citrus and fruit trees. I was surprised at how big this place was- from the front, it looks like a warehouse with maybe a small outdoor section, but their greenhouse and outdoor space goes way back. They also have a small bonsai section with some tools inside (now these seemed expensive to me, but again, what do I know?) A few of the workers talked to me while I was there and they were very nice. They also said that they will custom order most plants/trees if there's something specific you want that they don't have--but they seemed to have pretty much everything. read more

Always has some of the best selection of unique plants in SWFL. Prices are a bit steep at times but on occasion you can find things that are more reasonable. read more

Love this place. It's such a treat. Everyone there is so knowledgeable of the plants and how to take care of them. The pots, fountains and accessories are wonderful. Be sure to sign up for their reward program. Great way to save some money. They send u emails on sales and the "flower" of the month. Driftwood is one of my favorite places to go! read more
