Love Driftwood!! The employees are always helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The plants always look perfect and they last. I'm a big fan

Don't buy milkweed for your monarchs. It is treated and/or grown with pesticides. They claim they their supplier doesn't used pesticides but the milkweed may have come in contact with other plants during shipping. They suggest to be safe rinse leaves multiple times and or wait for possible pesticides to work through the plants before letting monarchs feed. DRIFTWOOD please find a different supplier. 100% of monarch caterpillars died.

Received a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered, from someone who ordered over the phone. They were beautiful -- very fresh and well put together (this coming from a past florist). Well done!

I took a cutting to Driftwood and their outside staff immediately knew what it was and how to plant a replacement.

Easy, flat walking tour (or you can ride in their golf cart). Jane was great as a tour guide, with a wealth of knowledge and an easygoing style of sharing information. What an incredible amount of plants here ! While their focus is more on edible plants and plantings, there was more than enough for people interested in colorful or blooming plants and trees. Beautiful setting, like walking through a tropical arboretum, lush and tropical. We were given samples of probably a dozen leaves to eat or smell through our tour. It really opened my eyes to trying to plant a few things that I hadn't considered before. There's also a small gift shop with some unique items as well as a nursery/garden center with some of the many plants that we had seen on our tour. Nice variety and decent prices !

Christian organization who explains their mission, accepts volunteers and does homeschool tours as well. Great to c various items growing in r climate - quinoa, buckwheat, broccoli, etc. Really wanted to c the local spinach, but they didn't have it during r visit. Assumed SWFL was too hot for sheep, but they had some living comfortably on property so now we're motivated to look into getting some. Also liked how they had them elevated w/slatted floors so the waste dropped down and fertilized the ground below or could be collected to fertilize crops. Various examples of how to create water filtration with what u have on hand. R tour guide was a really lovely older gal - very personable, upbeat, excited to share what's happening at ECHO. Definitely an asset to the organization, especially as it seems many of these people r volunteers so there is a lot of volunteer opportunity for those interested. A couple things I didn't care for....some pushing of the climate change narrative, there was an example/demo of pond water put into a plastic disposable water bottle and how u could just put that bottle into the sun to kill off the bacteria (of course the plastic carcinogenic chemicals can leech into the water when u leave those bottles in the sun so maybe not a great thing to push) & they had an outhouse for people to use that includes a composting toilet where they use the diluted waste on crops. Ummmm.....human waste of lots of unknown visitors is going to have remnants of medications/drugs and then putting that onto crops would b antithetical to natural/chemical free gardening. Anyway, at the end of the tour they have a gift shop w/some cool items. Love the earthy, natural options. They have lots of seeds, some snacks, and even got some bamboo dental floss that was pretty nice. It's about $12 for the tour. It's a walking tour, but terrain is very flat and easy. Go check it out!

Seems like an extreme thing, but I guess they were having issues with theft, so makes sense. They didn't have the product that I had planned to pick up, but one of the associates spent plenty of time helping me find a good substitute, and even brought a couple different options and discussed what I was using for, and read through labels with me. Super helpful! I still needed to find one more thing to use up the store credit, so I headed to look at storage bins and came across some hangers that were on clearance that we could use. I wasn't clear from the signage if the ones I was looking at were the ones on clearance so I grabbed it and associate to ask. It turns out the associate was the store manager, and he was super helpful and carried the hangers up to the front of the store since I was at full hands with kiddos. When I went to check out, the store credit wouldn't work because I had recently renewed my license and made a change. The entire store staff we came into contact with worked to resolve the issue within their store policies. They were all so helpful, I was really impressed!

I'm writing to share my experience with a 700 square foot ceramic tile floor installation…read more Unfortunately it turned into one of the most frustrating home improvement experiences I've ever had. The installation was subcontracted out to Floor Interiors, managed by Jim. From the beginning the quality of the work was unacceptable. After installation, I discovered more than 20 loose tiles scattered throughout the entire area. It was clear the installers had not used the proper amount of mortar, reportedly only half of the mortar ordered was used. The installers came back multiple times to address the issues and each attempt made things worse rather than better. After the 3rd unsuccessful attempt, I refused to allow Floor Interiors, to return. Only after significant time, effort and frustration on my part did Lowes bring in a different company. This entire process took far more time and energy than it should have. I was initially told that Floor Interiors was the only subcontractor Lowe's had in my area of Naples, FL. I hope Lowes reevaluates their subcontractor partnership in this region. No customer should have to go through multiple failed repairs and extended inconvenience to receive the quality of work they paid for.
