I was also told, in no uncertain terms, that a surprise delivery wouldn't be possible - she'd have to call the recipient a day in advance to arrange delivery, even though I had special instructions, including where to keep the arrangement safe, all ready to go. When I said I'd have to call back to ponder that stipulation, she kinda laughed at me - not my thing. Elsewhere I'll take my flower biz, methinks.

After I exited the store and made my way to the car, the store owner chased after me calling me an asshole and giving me the finger. By selecting what options you want online for beer they are then able to mail it to you. And for being on the other side of the country from where I am the shipping is fast! In the past sometimes they put a freebie beer in my shipment as well. Always great customer service as they reach out promptly if they have any questions with my orders. Of course be mindful that you need to live in a state that accepts alcoholic beverages in the mail. If you live by this business it looks like you are in for an additional treat with the plants, flowers and other nursery and gardening items that they have to offer. So to discover this tiny town has one where the truffles are made on site was so special for me. I mentioned the tiny liquor store was closed, so we were unable to purchase a bottle of wine to toast my husband. They came by the next day with two bottles from their private stock & we had a lovely conversation. Simply delightful, & gracious hosts. Truly touched my heart.
