Nice food, shame about the rude staff member i encountered. I called while visiting Thurnscoe from West Yorkshire on Saturday afternoon. I ordered chips and peas twice but forgot to ask for open, the assistant snapped at me because she was wrapping them up. Its a shame about her attitude because of a simple mistake, she could have asked me so she was as much to blame. I will never use the shop again. read more

Excellent fish and chip shop, second only to Donnie Road chip shop (reviewed separately). They also offer a free bottle of pop for orders over £12 (as of time of review). One little known fact is that the chip shop owner is the cousin of the owner of Donnie Road so I guess they've learnt from the best - now all they need to do is introduce home made fishcakes and they'll gain that coveted 5th star read more
