The drapes were hung so beautiful and the black chandelier is gorgeous. My favorite part is the bathroom. It has pink floral wallpaper and it's so quaint. The whole room was filled with such detail and intention. Michael is such a wonderful cook. There were homemade scones and cinnamon rolls served with eggs, bacon or sausage and they also had little parfaits. I had to have everything because it smells so delicious! Totally worth it to stretch my waistline. Joana mentioned they plan to open a bed and breakfast in France! With the wonderful couple hosting, you know I'll be there! The B and B itself was welcoming, tastily decorated, cozy and comfortable. The pool and hot tub looked inviting although we didn't have time to try either. Killer breakfast in the morning with plenty of food. Fruit was the best and so fresh and delicious. Pastries were equally as fresh. The presentation and vibe of the dining area was nicely done. Breakfast order was cooked as requested and yummy. I am sorry we were able to spend more time, not only in the area, but at The Victoria. It takes a special couple to own and manage a B and B and Michael and Joana have it mastered to a fine art! You won't be disappointed to add this to your list of places to stay if you are in the vicinity.

We too found that the owners were gracious hosts and the breakfast was delicious. I want to add two thoughts. First, the neighborhood was very quiet with lots of well kept and interestingly landscaped old houses, and it was a safe pleasant walk to Crystal Bridges and downtown. Second, if you wanted to drive to Bentonville with a friend who didn't want to go to Crystal Bridges, your friend would be just fine hanging around Laughlin House watching movies on their nice TVs, reading, or sitting (at least in the Spring) in their garden while you visit the museum.

The house was tidy and clean...so clean. The Blue Fern puts any hotel chain to shame, they could learn a thing or two from Monica about hospitality and professionalism. Her breakfast was yummy and the coffee cake was tasty. They are in the process of trying to sell the Blue Fern and retire, but in the meantime, they gotta keep the lights on, stay here if you're going to Tahlequah. We swam after that and had a great time. We went to the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. It is a unique outside Chapel. A must see. We drove to Branson, Missouri and ate at the Keeter Center which is part of the College of the Ozarks. The food is phenomenal and reasonable priced. We liked the lunch so much we went back later for dessert!! We also went to a show at Sight and Sound Theater. Lots to do!! I would highly recommend staying here. I have never felt so relaxed.
