Table setting and theme so appropriate for this bar mitzvah boy

We had a club meeting there and the facility is very interesting and certainly something to see. The unique bar was very cool, and you'll know what I mean if you go there! The food was good as well, we had a great time!

Went for a company party and had a great time. Very unique venue. There was also an escape room here and had plenty of parking.

We had the best food, beer, dessert etc. The venue is the coolest place! Add in a centrifuge oh my gosh... so much awesomeness in 1 place! Wish we lived here! No place like this!!!

This adaptive reuse of the former NASA centrifuge where our astronauts were trained before heading for the Moon, is a model of excellence in concept, design and performance. It is worth a look just to see the once state of the art space technology now sitting above your head in a large circular room, bathed in warm blues, reds and greens. Where once science reigned supreme, now houses one of the most interesting and comfortable banquet halls imaginable. That we just attended a wonderful event honoring terrific people who helped make our Council Rock School District one of the best in Pennsylvania, if not nationwide, is very nice, but that it was held in this amazing "space," makes the moment unforgettable. Wonder what they could do with a great rock band here?

Awful food. Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. Will not return and would not recommend anyone I know to visit either.

Nearly every detail the bride confirmed and signed off on before the wedding was ignored. The bridal suite had dirty champagne glasses and unsafe, wobbly chairs for hair and makeup. Both coordinators were hard to find throughout the day, and when issues arose, they were either dismissed or never followed up on. Guests were served the wrong food (including one with a serious allergy), others didn't receive meals at all, and many didn't even know dessert or coffee was available because there was no announcement. The champagne cart enhancement that was paid for was unstaffed and never used. Even simple things like helping the bride's nephew hand out programs--something I personally spoke to the coordinator about--were completely forgotten. Working in customer service myself, I know how important attention to detail, communication, and accountability are--especially for an event as meaningful as a wedding. What I saw that day was the opposite. The only person who seemed to know what she was doing was Sarah, who genuinely tried to correct issues and assist where others failed. Overall, it was extremely disappointing to watch such an important day unravel due to negligence and poor management.

It probably isn't fair to judge a catering hall by the quality of a political dinner the month…read morebefore an election, but such are the circumstances of my appearance at Spring Mill Country Club. There were over 200 people in their great hall and we filled it up with bodies and noise. Covid be damned! First there were the introductions of all the royalty in the house. Nice to know FDR's grandson was there from Massachusetts, as well as the last candidate for Congress who is the grandson of a former Vice President (and lost that election). Then, we had assorted other semi important folks, like the current candidate for Lieutenant Governor and a current member of Congress standing in for the Democratic candidate for governor, who had a conflict in his dash for the statehouse; not to mention all the lesser pols running for one seat or another in Harrisburg, Bucks County or various municipalities. Sure, we want them all to win for the sake of the Commonwealth and the nation. But, surely we all recognized there was too much preaching to the choir and trying to wind up the already converted and committed. So, why not dispense with all the hoopla and just give us the greatest hits, let us eat the perfunctory dinner and have a few drinks at the cash bar, and be on our way? Can't be done. Why? Because pols and their true believers can't get enough of the self congratulations and the boisterous standing ovations, even when flaming redundancy abounds. Perhaps, the crowd was afraid that if they didn't overreact to every word that someone would think they weren't diehards for the cause. Rhetorical questions, all. I sat with a few friends and caught up with them, and decided to only stand up for each speaker after they spoke, rather than double dipping by ovating them both before and after speaking. Well, better than nothing. Of course, the affair ran over the 2.5 hours allotted. At least the cheesecake was decent.

The…read morequality of food and selection was great, just as it had been at their Thanksgiving buffet and New Year's Eve event. There was thick juicy sliced ham and roast beef, a selection of vegetable and pasta dishes, a spread of salads and a sweet dessert table. The dining room has a nice atmosphere. During our first time up at the buffet, an 86 year-old member of our party made a comment to me about how one of the soup's looked like dog food. It wasn't the best comment, and apparently someone nearby took offense. During our second trip back to the buffet, another diner- a complete stranger- called this member of our party a slang word for a female dog, and then explained why. We felt uncomfortable and intimidated. I expressed my concern to a hostess, who promised to send someone to speak to us to work this out- except they never did. Having to make repeated trips back to our table past this other diner made us uncomfortable. I spoke to a well-intentioned but happily apathetic manager who said that there were two sides to the story. His comparison of the two comments was offensive. I understand that the soup comment was inappropriate, and that restaurants cannot control what their customers say either way. But how could someone not speak up after having their girlfriend/wife/mother/grandmother/loved one called a "female dog?" The restaraunt's dismissive response spoke volumes to their handling of disputes and respect toward women. The staff did nothing to make or feel better, nor did they even bother to check in or talk to her. For a dinner that came to over $200 for the three of us, with gratuity included, we expected to be treated better than that.

He was recommended to us by a friend who used his service for her wedding and she could not start talking about how much fun he was. Chris chatted with us on the phone prior to the official booking to let us know his style and to find out what we were looking for. My husband and I could tell he was the one from our initial conversation, as we felt like we knew him already. Chris then met up with us a few weeks before the wedding to put our minds at ease by going over all the basic. He has a great site he gives you a login/password to once you book with him. The site allows you to create a playlist, a do not playlist, and select things such as your first dance, parents dances, bouquet toss, etc. Super easy to use and gives you ideas for songs as well. We did not have a band for our ceremony, so Chris provided all the music for our bridal party and my entrance. He also mic'd up our officiant and my husband which was really helpful as the venue did not provide this for us. Light music was also provided for our cocktail hour, then the real fun started! Chris did something very unique as far as introducing our bridal party which we are still receiving compliments about. Prior to the wedding, Chris had us fill out brief questionnaires about our bridal party and then had my husband and I separately fill our brief questionnaires about each other. Some example questions would be: tell me an embarrassing story about so and so or voted most likely to. It created a very fun set of unique introductions, making everyone laugh and our bridal party to have their own special moment. For our introduction, our quests got to hear our love story and some funny moments created throughout our relationship. After the intros and speeches (which Chris also provided the mics for), our dance floor was jumping for the next three hours. Everyone danced nonstop as the music was absolutely perfect and kept the dance floor packed with at least 100 guests at all times. I could not recommend Chris Marx enough and our wedding would not have been the same without him! Book him, you will have an absolutely perfect wedding! PS: he also took a video of our ceremony, the speeches, and our intros and sent them to me after the wedding. This was extremely thoughtful and unexpected, we were almost sorry we booked a videographer! Haha Thanks again Chris, we will find a reason to work with you again in the near future!
