Much much much much much improved with new ownership. Less of the comfy couches, but the tables are functional. But the coffee is so so so much better. Interesting cafe food, not wild, but a good range and significantly better quality than the place on the corner. Young but friendly waitstaff. After waiting for more than an hour for three large flat whites and observing others get up and leave we debated about also leaving. After enquiringly about when we could get our order we were told we were a bunch of cunts and asked to leave by the owner/barista! We did get our money back......I got to drink a coffee delivered to the next lady but was not her order.....she had been waiting with her partner for over an hour as well.....when we left some 15 minutes after drinking this very average coffee she still had not received her skinny cap! The poor young girl delivering coffees to the tables did an amazing job matching coffees with orderees as there was no system in place even though I asked for a number at time of order. There were numbered blocks on some of the tables but these were not linked to any individual order. Sadly, and I have had great coffee there many times on my visits to Canberra, I will not be returning to this place! read more

A great venue, happy staff and generally something good happening at the gallery or some music of an evening. Brings some life to Lyneham. The only let down is the inconsistency of the coffee. Sometimes great, sometimes just plain rubbish. But worth the gamble and let the barista know if you need them to have another go. read more

Delicious and fresh food. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. What more could you want! We came here on Yelp reviews when staying on the North side of Canberra for Australia day long weekend. The quirky furniture and good service make for relaxed, unassuming breakfast. Coffee is solid and food serving size is excellent. Tasty fresh food including the bread made on site daily.
