QUALITY OF SERVICE GIVEN : I won't say it was service cause it was anything but. This man was not only rude without reason, he enjoyed being mean and you could tell.. We are very quiet nice people my fiancé and I, we don't do anything but work and try to fix our situation because we don't enjoy being in it ..We are in an area where we have no access to water unless we go somewhere. so instead of going into a restaurant or business we chose a place that is supposed to aim at helping those in need. After being given permission by a person who claimed to be the "manager" of the NH food bank at the Manchester, NH East Industrial Park Drive location one night, after he had seen us going to fill up at night from an outside spicket in the parking lot *while the place was closed. We thought about it first and figured we actually felt like this would be the best place to do this cause they might actually be nice people like they claim to be in wanting to help people. However, after filling our water jugs a couple times per week for maybe a month (after hours so as to not bother anyone) which is when we got permission, we were approached by a man who said HE was the manager - alongside the man who had already claimed to be manager originally and were very rudely told "This is your last fillup you hear me? Go to the fire station!" In a very unwelcoming tone that actually startled us. when we stated we had permission, he quickly and abruptly snapped "no you don't!" Now, mind you - we've never been rude or stepped out of place with the food bank or any employees there, we had just politely requested water from an outside spicket cause it was summer and we were homeless at the time with animals.. I thought this place was supposed to care about those in need?? That was part of their mission was to serve the community. I didn't realize that only meant those who had money to donate & were not struggling. If this is what the donations pay for is for people to be extremely rude, judgemental, very unwelcoming, and to tell those in need that they weren't allowed to get free help from a place by means of FREE TAPWATER - Then the people donations dollars are definitely being wellspent, otherwise I know exactly where our money we are currently waiting to receive is NOT going. We will make sure it goes to places that actually help like they say they are doing and not the ones lying about it. Don't people like that realize It's hard enough to be struggling like this with nowhere to call home at night or to not be in a warm bed and feel safe?? Apparantly they don't care either. So to have a place that is supposed to help those in need turn you away for something of no cost to them even being that much of a necessity, and so rudely, I feel even more hopeless now more than ever... So thank you, and my animals that needed that water badly this afternoon say thanks as well The person running this place is mean and should not be in charge of a place like this at all.. I work two jobs my fiancé practically works around the clock and we drive a vehicle that frankly I thought would at least show people we try very hard to fix our situation and we have money just no home but this kind of thing shows me that the problem isn't hiding among the people struggling at all, it's in plain sight in the horrible ones who are running things! As long as that man runs that place it won't help anyone who needs it, I'd love to see where that money people donate under false pretense every year REALLY goes.!!

They do not use a phone to get ahold of them and request you email for contact but do not reply at all or even bother to look at their email. I am shocked they can take care of dogs with how this business is managed. Will not be going back and recommend you do not waste your time with them because they clearly do not care.

My kids can't wait to go to school the next day. My daughter actually gets upset when I pick her up because she doesn't want to leave! lol If you are looking for a preschool for your child, look no further! PLG is absolutely wonderful!! Lastly, their pricing is very competitive. I have friends who are paying double what we pay! The facility is also brand new and beautiful! They take advantage of mother's stuck with no other availability around town. Kristy also has a two week policy when leaving and she told me my child could not finish the two weeks. She said we are done. Good Luck finding a center. Her policies are in place for her only. I asked on the town's FB page about peoples' experience with PLAY LAUGH & GROW. I got 8 negative messages & one positive one. They complained about the etiquette of owners & AD ; kids getting hurt without an accident report , several more complaints & said stay away from this center . The owner text me how dare you asked the community about my business . I said, " I am a customer. Customers go by word of mouth. " I told her I got several bad messages about her business in a few hours. She text me "If you make a bad review about PLAY LAUGH & GROW I will take you to court and my lawyer demands you to send all the messages I got on FB." Threatening me if I write a bad review is a violating of the Customer Review Fairness Act. A day later , I got a call from a Chester police officer saying Kristy called them seeing if they could advise me not to make a bad review. I am only expressing my honest experience with Kristy DeCesare and Rachel Whiteneck at PLAY , LAUGH & GROW hoping this will give future customers information & the first amendment gives me the right to do so. She had a few nice ladies working there . Unfortunately, one left. This business has too many red flags. I wouldn't recommend it at all. In my opinion, they are focusing solely on the $ and are ignoring the heart and soul of the business; the families . They shouldn't call themselves a preschool simply a daycare. We wandered through the elaborate taxidermy and reptile room, ventured up to the top floor viewing deck, and then the small, yet amazing, raptor exhibit. We came in winter, just after Christmas, so maybe the animals hadn't seen many people in the last few days, but they were all alert, moving around and making noise. The barred owls clicked and blinked away, the barn owl poked its head out at us, the red tailed hawk fluffed it's feathers and the bald eagle screeched hello. So cool!

I want all the other seniors like me out there to know that NHA is using our donations to fund special interest groups that have little to nothing to do with our wildlife. After many, many years of birding and contributing to NHA with my dearly departed wife, I can only assume that nature doesn't need our help. Why else would NHA be deviating from their mission to support controversial social issues? It really burns me that you took my picture without my review and let them post it as a positive on their page, where my intent was quite opposite. Let's see if they post this along with the pic- a lie. Beware of donating to NHA! Find out where your money is going before you donate! Great to know the environment in our state doesn't need any more help. Sad that we are being misled into thinking we are contributing to nature. Great that NHA has enough money to fund these groups (most of which are doing quite well on their own, thank you) and won't miss my- let's see-a little over $240 to date this year. Never again. The saddest part is I now have to vet my contributions to other charities (mostly animal and environmental) to find out what they are doing with my money. A sad state of affairs.

COA is open 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, but closed on Federal Holidays. The COA serves the residents nine communities in two counties. With a roster of nearly 2,500 members, the COA serves the over 50 year-old crowd with a plethora of offerings and services. It has 27 seasonal programs and services offered in house as well as affiliated programs outside the building. In addition, a volunteer force of over 200 dedicated individuals contributes more than 8,000 hours of services annually. One of the salient programs of the COA is its transportation program. The volunteer driver corps drives over 60,000 miles annually, using their own vehicles to provide rides for elderly persons with little mobility or those without transportation. These range from important health and wellness visits, to picking up the week's groceries. Other offerings include the Tom & Tom mens' discussion group, an active weekly forum for organized sharing and discussion (no politics of religion allowed); both French and Spanish immersion discussion groups; power walking at the Proctor Academy gym; health and fitness classes; painting workshops; a needlecraft group, Tai Chi gatherings; women's discussion groups, computer classes; Parkinson's Support classes; Meditation workshops; long-term planning workshops; a Breakfast Book Club; and a Humanistic and Agnostic discussion groups among other activities. The COA also provides Mobility Equipment loaners for people with limited mobility; from canes, to walkers and wheelchairs. One of the salient features of the COA is its Library with numerous fiction and non-fictions literary works for the reading crowd. Not all is discussion and sedentary at the COA. The Outdoor Recreation For Seniors (ORFS) group at the COA is made up of numerous high-energy seniors whose hiking, alpine and nordic skiing, kayaking and snowshoeing activities would put many younger persons to shame. The ORFS is active throughout the year. The COA is a huge resource for a large portion of the Kearsarge community.
