The funniest part was when the appraiser admitted he couldn't even authorize payment, it had to go to someone higher up and the chances of anything getting paid were less than 10%. And for roof damage, the split my roof into 6 sections and I was told that 50% of the section would have to be damaged for replacement.... of only that section. I swear, he counted the total tiles of each section, then the damaged tiles and said that my damage was below my deductible (there's another scam) and I should "hire a friend that's a roofer and buy him some beer". Low rates at first then just steadily kept going up. If I had realized that they insured on bad faith (look up that lawsuit in Texas) I would have dropped them years ago. Now read on for someone to make excuses and say they want to make it right.... clue: that's only for PR. There is no making it right.

I was in her office last month to gain some help for an insurance claim, and because I was taking up some time in their office, Ms. Fitzpatrick rudely cut me off in the middle of my sentence, walked away from me and left me to deal with my problem with one of her other workers. The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism that Ms. Fitzpatrick evidenced at that moment was unconscionable, and I have decided to move all my insurance needs (home, auto, etc.) to another agent in town, and eventually, to leave State Farm insurance after 20 years! You'll notice that many of the other 'positive' reviews of Rachel Fitzpatrick mention the other workers in her office. NEVER was I told it was going to be marked as late when changing my due date. So I go to renew, & my discount for on time payment was removed. I was never told this would happen. So my new premium went up $25.00. WHAT? I drive to work 6miles a Week & they wanted me to pay $161.00 a Month?? All becuz Allstate Billing never gave me correct information, twice! I discovered it only by seeing it on my app. After resolving the problem and getting a new policy number, they had problems with restoring my 'Full Pay' payment plan. They kept changing it back (or never changed it in the first place) to the more expensive monthly charge. This was MONTHS ago, I thought it was resolved because my app said the Full Pay plan payment was scheduled and they had my bank info to take the payment. Suddenly I get a letter that says I am being canceled for non-payment when the automatic payment isn't due to be taken out for several days! I call them, and all I get is voicemail and they never call back! I've been with this agency for years, initially when they were here locally in Rochester MN, but now they transferred my business to their office several hundred miles from me in IOWA! Allstate has been good insurance, but this agency hires inept idiots.
