He could have sold us a new compressor and we wouldn't have known the difference, but instead he simply cleaned it for a fraction of the cost. The repair was completed in early September, but within three weeks the dishwasher was still leaking at the final walk‑through. They were contacted again on September 16 under their labor warranty. GH Appliance Repair came out on September 17 and claimed the leak was fixed. After closing on September 18, I inspected the appliance myself and found the dishwasher was still leaking exactly as before. I reached out once more on September 24 to have the issue corrected under their labor warranty. At that point, the company told me that because I was now the "new owner," they would not honor the warranty--even though the original repair was never successful. The dishwasher was never fixed, the issue persisted through multiple visits, and the company refused to stand behind their own work. I cannot recommend GH Appliance Repair based on this experience.

I did read reviews on him and another repair company and he was the only one who responded. I'm still waiting to get a call from the other people! I'd like to address the reviews on Yelp for Dan. I'll be honest and say that 1. Yes, he only texts. But really, who cares. I don't mind. It saves all the polite convo to get straight to the point. Time is money! 2. Yes, he said he would be here at one time and was late. It's ok. I was prepared. I can see that his being the more affordable repair guy makes him in high demand. I've learned that he doesn't know how to say no to anyone. He forgets that he is a human and although he wants to be everywhere at one time....things happen. Parts need to be ordered or traffic is bad or the problem is worse than he first assessed over text. So, if you are a realist, Dan is the man. If you are a stuck up pain in the butt that thinks their time is more important than price....call someone else. I promise you will be waiting and waiting and waiting for a response from someone else. He really is a super nice guy. He's the kind of guy that would pull over and change your flat if you were on the side of the road. And for anyone who knows what I'm talking about you know that's a real decent person. So, don't be in a hurry, be flexible with your schedule because he really will get to you, just maybe not exactly "on the dot". He needs to give Windows of time but he is so nice he really wants to give a specific time so you will be happy. I'll defiantly call him if I have anything else break.

It became a constant cycle of rearranging my schedule without any reliability on his end. His communication was also unprofessional. He used inappropriate language during conversations and made dismissive comments about my appliances, referring to them as "junk" instead of focusing on the repair. At one point, when discussing the issues, he also made it clear he does not stand by his work, stating that I shouldn't expect any money back if something failed. While the job was eventually completed, the overall experience was frustrating, drawn out, and far below what you'd expect from a professional. Between the missed appointments, poor communication, and lack of accountability, I would not recommend using him.
