She helped me with choosing table styles and colors also made sure we were getting the best deal that we could before ordering the table. She would even text me instead of having to go in all time for any questions we both had, that made things so much easier with having three kids. The day I did go in to select colors she was so good with the kids and let them sit on the beds which kept them busy and happy! I will recommend her to anyone and La-Z-Boy seems like a great place to shop with amazing quality furniture.

I had such a bad experience at Lazy Boy Red Deer, that I wrote a two-page letter to their head…read moreoffice. I spent a year visiting the store searching for the perfect couch and chair. On September 1st I walked into the store with $1000 and ordered three pieces, a couch and two chairs. I was told the furniture would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I expected the furniture to arrive well before Christmas. When the furniture did not arrive by Christmas I started calling the store and visiting the store on a regular basis, I always talked to the sales person who took my order, her name was Christine. Every time I got a different excuse and most of the time she didn't know why the furniture was late. At NO time did she EVER call me or email me to keep me updated. Had she taken the time to call or email, I might not have been so mad. Once they got my money I was ignored. The furniture finally arrived February 25th - 6 months after I ordered it. When the truck arrived at our house, we were not at home so they took the furniture back to the store. I had called Christine and told her specifically to call my husbands cell phone when the truck was on its way so someone could be there, she did not do that and our furniture went back to the store. The second time the truck arrived, my husband was at home and the truck driver refused to unload the furniture unless we paid the remaining balance owed. That was not our original deal, we had signed up for the 12 payment plan at the store with a $1000 down payment. My husband was on the phone with the store for 30 minutes until they finally convinced the truck driver to unload our furniture. The customer service I received was so unbelievably bad that if there was a zero rating, that's what they would get. Christine eventually told me that our order had been LOST at the factory and she had to re-order the furniture which is why it took so long. I'll never buy anything from Lazy Boy, and my advice to other people is BUYER BEWARE.

In fact they have surpassed my expectations when i had to ship in my Tamron lens for repair at no charge which is standard from what i understand. Wow, customer service to the max. Customer service is what keeps you in business and brings more customers to your store. You can't beat what they offer. Thank You Hank and everyone at the Red Deer store.

The labour board needs to investigate this place. They have an unprecedented turnover rate and will…read morefire you with no notice right before the holidays as they've done with entire departments before, but they'll be sure to inform your entire team before you are even made aware. On the "road," you only get breaks if there's time, despite standing for 12 hours straight. They will make you re-sign a part time contract despite promising you full time and benefits. A coworker of mine worked 50+ hour weeks without a raise or a full time contract. Workload is massive and unfair for $16/hr. They mostly hire young people that they can manipulate easily, especially for the shows. When 8 people phone in sick after teardown, there is obviously a core problem in the company but you just laughed. The owners create an extremely suppressive environment. They gaslight, victim blame, lie, gossip, lovebomb, micromanage, avoid reflection, and never take accountability. There is no diversity, safety or trust, but there is a constant fear of retribution. It makes you wonder why there's no HR department. They use fear as motivation as the rules only exist to keep us in line. They are microaggressive and expect workaholic behaviour but provide no opportunities of forward movement. There is immense leadership gossip and favouritism. Regular employees are not allowed boundaries. The owners are malicious and secretive. They insist on silence as employees are on a need to know basis. We are not to discuss wages, hour cuts, contracts, and/or red flags or we will be punished. They gossip about former employees and even harassed one and used it to blackmail them. They lie about pricing and overcharge people and expect us not to tell them, and they create fake sales for profit. They lie about unethical sourcing to customers and employees. They undermine serious health hazards on a daily basis. One coworkers hours were cut to one day a week after she claimed WCB when a product fell on her head causing a concussion, and another coworker got blood poisoning from their failure to explain the risks of lead-based minerals. The owners spend the majority of their time managing their ego over their vision, and personal interest always comes before collective good. They told us the store was losing money so they had to pay us out of their savings, but can afford to buy a house and a boat on Vancouver Island and a helicopter. They intentionally use unclear communication to cover their own disorganization and to place the blame elsewhere. These people need their business license revoked for abusing their entire workforce. Even the customers are beginning to notice their arrogance and disrespect whenever they meet them. I am truly disgusted with this company's practices and will rejoice when they are finally closed indefinitely.

Very, very pleased…read more A friend of mine recommended Village Goldsmith, when I was looking to have some rings resized. Prices were crazy around town ($40-$45), but Village Goldsmith was much more reasonable at $25 for my silver rings (Yes! He even resizes silver!) & $30 for my white gold rings. The Goldsmith was very friendly & extremely efficient, & his work was impeccable. I feel like I have brand new rings! I will tell all my friends to go to him first, if they ever need any work done on their jewelry. Unfortunately, his shop is tucked away in the Village Mall & not easy to spot. Look for the huge sign in the corner for Blarney Stone Pub & Restaurant, directly below it you will see the word Goldsmith. Walk under the arch & the pub is to the left & the Goldsmith is to the right.
