It looks like a little White House with black trim. It looks more like an artist studio than a craft store. If you are there for the supplies you will hardly notice. Tradewinds does framing and they have traditional art supplies (no glue guns or glitter). Framing- a lot of artists go here to frame shows. From what I have seen, the work is perfect and the prices are very good. Art supplies--go here for Windsor & Newton watercolors!! Even the Series 4 (the most expensive) paints were REALLY reasonably priced! They also have sheets of watercolor and printmaking paper, well priced sketchbooks, paintbrushes. I found a rather exotic specialty watercolor brush that I didn't even know existed...and I've consumed a lot of art supplies. John/Jon is the guy that has generally been there and helped me. If you talk to him you will find him kind and funny. I wish more artists knew about this place and supported it. It's a gem.

But the work they do is incredible. They have the knowledge and expertise to frame anything. While I was there having a poster custom mounted, I noticed that many families of servicemen and women were having their memorabilia turned into art - it's pretty cool how they can turn those momentos into something beautiful that can hang on your wall forever. I spend a lot of time with my 76 year old cousin who relies on an internal heart pump to remain alive. If he were to get COVID it would be a death sentence, so I am very careful and concerned. The shop person seemed to care more about being personally, ideologically correct than morally correct, and certainly didn't care about his customer's concerns about related health issues, nor did he offer to wear a mask to make me, a customer, feel more comfortable.
