I went here for a friend's gallery showing and it was pretty cool, though there is not much soundproofing going on and you can hear almost everything going on in the street. Not conducive if you're going for a peaceful meditative mood when police/fire sirens are blaring. But if you're going for the NYC city feel this place will be right up your alley! Literally!

We have now done 3 sessions and they just keep getting better and better! Erica and the team are so beyond talented and amazing I am just so thankful. I highly recommend Moving Mountains to anyone who is thinking about getting any sort of photos done. 10/10 just amazing!

BUT are still people like this out there!!! I will never do business or say anything nice about this venue. Shame on you! In this time of the nation's pandemic we are urged to self-quarantine not just to protect ourselves but our family, friends, and loved ones. With that being said in the best interest of our family, friends and loved ones Ashton and Stewart have decided not to have their wedding ceremony and reception that was planned on April 11th. While having to make adjustments and cancellations it has been heartwarming in this difficult time when the caterer (Doughgirls catering) gave the entire deposit back with well wishes. Thank you!! Then there's the Venue, The Bottle Factory in Monroe NC. I don't recommend anyone EVER book an event with Sherry Helms that owns the Bottle Factory. She doesn't truly care about anything but the money. This is not a normal situation; they didn't just change their mind. We contacted her under the current circumstances discouraging large gatherings and asked for some kind of refund. In a time of Pandemic, you would have thought she would have been more empathic for a couple having to go through this situation. In an email sent from Mrs. Helms the owner of the Bottle Factory today (3/24/20) she has very boldly said she will NOT REFUND any money paid ($6000) in capital letters. And she will make sure their wedding will be beautiful on April 11th. Clearly, she doesn't care about the well-being of the community because she is willing to continue holding LARGE events in the community potentially spreading the Corona Virus!

His expertise comes through as you watch him move lighting inside, test lighting outside, pose the subject inside and outside to get the perfect shots. He's very fun to work with and even carried his huge lighting equipment 3 blocks away, and back, to get different backgrounds for the casual photos. We offered to help him carry it but he would hear of it. He IS a talker, but that's just part of the business. It would be pretty awkward for the photographer to not have conversation. LOL. He was 30min behind while we waited; but he spent 2 hours with us. The digital camera review of the shots looked great! Even the ones he threw me and my hubby into. I was looking to have professional photos of my sweet pup, and from the moment we arrived at their studio, I was so impressed at how welcoming they made my fur-baby feel. Their conveniently located Cornelius place is both an elegant gallery and studio with beautiful props and backgrounds that will ensure your photo session will result in amazing photos. Everyone knows pets can be unpredictable, shy and/or difficult when trying to get pictures of them, but Greg and Stacy literally bent over backwards to get fun images using their photography skills and experience with animals. We had so much fun during the photo session, and I did not feel rushed at all. You can tell they truly love animals and want to do all they can to get gorgeous and expressive images of your beloved pet. I was pleasantly surprised that within a few days after the photo session, they invited me back to their studio to select my favorites to order with them. They have many options for you to decide how you would like your selected portrait(s) displayed. When I received my pet's image on the mounted wall art, it was absolutely beautiful! The quality and detail are stunning, and I love seeing it hung up in my home! (I ordered their Italian glossy acyrlic wall art product). I can't recommend Zook Photo enough for anyone seeking timeless, heartwarming portraits of their furry companions! Of course, they also do not just do pet photo sessions- but have several other gorgeous pieces of their photographs displayed in their gallery, too-  from couples, to families, to capturing bucket list moments and more. We really wanted a photographer who could help with the flow of the day, rather than be another part in the craziness. Maggie did just this - she got our pictures with our large family quickly and easily, all while making sure everyone had a good time, wasn't waiting around, and felt like a model. We also fell in love with her photos as soon as we saw them on Instagram, and we knew we had to have her travel to us. Sometimes paying for wedding photographers to travel can be expensive and confusing, but Maggie is so trustworthy that we had zero doubts about the value she could bring to our day. Finally, the results she produced were amazing. She delivered so many pictures, beyond what we were expecting, and they were all so beautiful. Getting married/planning during covid proved difficult for finding a venue, so our wedding was at a family church and we were concerned about it photographing well. Maggie made our church look as classy as any wedding venue, and with enough variety that we really do have all of the pictures we could want. We are so happy that we had her as a part of our day, and would recommend her to anyone.
