This caused him to become reactive to dogs and other animals (cats, squirrels, etc.). He's great with people, but taking him in public can be stressful for both me and him because you never know when you'll encounter another dog. I've tried other trainers in the past (both one-on-one and boarded training), and I'd about given up, opting to live a life where my pup never got to leave our home except to go to the vet. We can now take Moose off leash comfortably knowing she will come when called, sit and stay even in busy environments. I feel like we are happier humans and she is a happier dog thanks to Sam's help. Kat quickly got in touch and we had about a 30-min call, which provided me with INVALUABLE insight into my urgent situation. Before, she was unable to be near other dogs, couldn't let her off leash unless we were completely alone, and constantly worried about her in public. He taught us how to correctly read her and understand her so we could then set her up for success. He used lots of desensitization, counter-conditioning, and reinforcing positive decisions to communicate to her the correct response to things that scared her. We are able to reinforce her trust in us now, and now have gained priceless knowledge for both ourselves and her. She has been able to greatly reduce any anxiety and stress she has and we now have a much stronger bond and can see a visible difference in her. We are thrilled with the work Clint did with her and how he gave her and us the training to allow her to live in a much happier, stress-free, and confident place.

As a result, I was thrilled when Les opened Good Dog Training and Kennels - it soon became my "go to" place to board my dog Athena, even though I had to drive forty minutes out of my way to drop her off and pick her up. She was so happy to be there, that as much as I missed her when away, I almost felt guilty about picking her up and depriving her of her new playmates. We were wrong, Snazzy checked all the boxes. Our little doxie, Willie Mays, lost his buddy of eleven years just before the move. Willie was one stressed out doxie and could not be left alone. We put our faith in Snazzy to groom the little guy with love and care. Willie walked out of the grooming area with his coat shiny and his tail wagging, we could not ask for more from a groomer. One more thing, his nail trimming was the best he's ever had. Give them a try, you'll be impressed!
