I have been to other YMCA locations and this particular one feels like a jr high/high school. The locker rooms reek and overall the buildout could use a deep cleaning. Likely the two go hand-in-hand: untidy+children. The building itself is pretty old as well. Aside from those factors, it is comparable to other YMCA locations as for amenities offered. The fitness center has fairly decent equipment and the. Cycling class recently revived new bikes. I just personally don't care for this particular one due to its infestation of unruly kids.

Bathrooms were really clean as well as the showers. They were a decent size but they do have curtain instead of doors... no biggie! I loved that they had a scale and a trash and paper towels in this location which I never seen at any other locations. Machines were not the updated ones but they also didn't feel cheap while working out. If you're a truck driver, the parking lot does not allow semi's (which has nothing to do with PF) but other than that, if you've been following my planet fitness reviews, you can guess what's coming next... Anyway, a few weeks later I get a bill for almost 500$. I called Danielle and said it was a mistake and it would be written off. Again she Told me consultation was no charge. This was August 2022. I am still waiting for the credit. They billed BCBSNC for things that Never happened during a consultation. I'm livid and they know it. I will not stop until this is over. Shady does not begin to describe their business model. I have contacted corporate and will again. This happened at the Salisbury NC office. But, I understand it happens at all their offices.
