Doc's selection is unparalleled in Westchester. They are one of the only stores that regularly get rare exclusives like the Opus X. The cigars in the cabinets are always properly stored and humidified. I can't tell you how often I saw dried out or over-humidified cigars at other shops. Doc's is a bit pricey, but their quality and selection speak for themselves.

Best in the Valley - And It's Not Even Close…read more Just made my second trip to Valley Greens with my wife (a high school special education teacher) and our two ESA Golden Retrievers, Ella and Thor--and once again, they absolutely delivered. I make the trip all the way from Shelton, CT to Peekskill, NY just to come here, and every mile is worth it. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is spot on. With its retro-inspired charm and the feel of an old-school general store, Valley Greens strikes the perfect balance between nostalgic comfort and modern convenience. I came back specifically for their kief, and I still can't get over the top-tier quality, fantastic pricing, and how genuinely friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. You just don't find this kind of consistency and care everywhere. Valley Greens has made a forever loyal customer out of me. My family and I will now be making bi-weekly or monthly trips to this shop from Shelton--because when you find a place this good, you stick with it. If you're anywhere within driving distance, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it. --Alexander DeMarco

The selection of cigars and store atmosphere has improved since the new guy Pasquale has joined the store about 4 months ago. I haven't seen any Padron cigars that I normally buy in over 2 months. The owner keeps saying they are coming in but I'm not holding my breath. It doesn't take months to have an order fulfilled. My husband and I hang out at times at the shop sitting on broken chairs. The ventilation system is awful. The humidor has a home humidifier instead of a proper commercial unit. The only thing that improved is the knowledgeable employee Pasquale. My husband loves all of his recommendations and the way he describes the characteristics that make up the cigar. He invites us to sit and stay and enjoy our cigars with a beverage. He is very hospitable and charming. Overall, it's a crapshoot knowing if your cigar will be in stock, but worth the drive especially if Pasquale is there to greet you.

One of the best dispensaries in Westchester!…read more First off their location is super convenient if you want a lowkey location to pick up and shop around for cannabis products. Secondly, as soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed by their staff who are ready to help and give you any recommendations if needed. They offer a wide variety of products and brands so whenever I want to switch it up I also make sure to ask. As a frequent guest and user I can confidently say all of their recommendations are a hit, just let them know what you're into!! The rewards system offered at this place is one of a kind. Honestly some of the best, not only are you earning points back to cash in for rewards but you also review exclusive deals to products pretty much weekly. Their 4/20 deals were amazing and got a free goodie bag with my order, great place to stop by and if you're heading into the city this is conveniently located RIGHT across from the train station :)

NOT SPONSORED. NOT PAID. NOT ENDORSED. Just a genuinely…read moreexceptional experience. I recently discovered Up The River Dispensary in downtown Ossining (near train station and 3Westerly) hands down--beyond 10/10, 5, premium products, utmost confidence in their solutions and they go above and beyond in service. From the minute you walk in (door furthest right), you'll see Pat's security either at the 'door of bliss' or by the window. Pat opens the entry door and WOW, this place feels less like a dispensary and more like a low-lit, modern speakeasy meets adult candy store meets relaxed hidden gem hiding in plain sight--just up the river! As someone living with a rare neuro movement disorder, legal blindness, fibromyalgia, and multiple autoimmune conditions, finding a dispensary that actually *sees me* is rarer than my disorder itself it seems. From the moment Pat (Head of Security / Lead Budtender) and Ryan (Owner) greeted and introduced themselves to my brother and I-- there was an immediate sense of safety, calm, HEARD, and never rushed or judged. No question was too small, too "medical," or too complex. Ryan is the heart of this place--you feel it immediately. He is meticulous. His focus isn't on a quick sale; it's on education, relief, and real human, patient-centric connection and recreational of course. He took the time to walk me through concentrates, MEGA edibles, and alternatives in a way I could actually interpret--even with ADHD and brain fog. That level of care is everything and probably saved me that day in more ways than they realize. I let them know my budget with gratuity, and we went over best bang for your buck per serving and as a whole, as there's simply a vast assortment nowadays! I left that place super relieved, empowered, educated, smiling, feeling supported and yes--looking fresh thanks to the sweet merch (the corduroy hat is so perfect w oversized chunky sweater, leggings & chucks.) Standout products: aside from all of them so far. * MEGA 100mg Baja Blast gummies - potent, customizable, and clutch for serious symptom relief. * Eureka 3-in-1 3g AIO - best bang for your buck IMO (Mimosa/Jealousy = ) * The topicals (1st time using as I prefer the euphoric mood lifting calm that comes with the relief) however, this one shown in photo has worked so well and really makes its way in for max pain relief. What truly sets Up The River apart is that it never feels transactional. It feels like a modern mom-and-pop shop run by the next generation--staff who remember you and your story, who create space for patients with disabilities to take their time, and who are actively bringing life back to Ossining. After some genuinely scary experiences at other dispensaries, safety, integrity, and trust matter deeply to me. Up The River has earned all three with carefully curated, compliant products and a team that stands behind what they recommend. Medical patient or recreational consumer--if you're in Westchester, this place is a game-changer. Quality of life meets supreme service and top-shelf products. You'll leave feeling like part of something special. Hope to see you in this rejuvenated river town-- with this premium dispensary just up the river!
