3 days away from christmas and i was just told to send a floral arrangement to a very important client who lives somewhere in the wilderness. the catch? the nearest florist is an hour away. a challenge, once again, presented itself.
thru teleflora, i was able to fulfill the task at hand. or so i thought. an hour passed after i placed my order, i get an email stating that the earliest delivery would be after christmas. well that totally defeats the purpose and definitely makes my job on the line - i think of the worst case scenario. a simple task that cannot be accomplished is not what i want to be remembered. as i digress, i explained my urgency for the order to teleflora and they were gracious enough to find other florists nearby while i did my own searching on the 'net. needless to say, our search landed with the flower box.
i spoke to a lady named paula who was very sweet, really calm and collected. she had confirmed that she will be making the arrangement with a minor change on some of the flowers, which is totally fine as long as they still look christmas-y. i mean with a floral description like, "by golly, it's jolly", she knew what i was looking for. and of course, most importantly, she assured me that they will be able to deliver on time. definitely before christmas. yes! such a sweet sigh of relief! mission accomplished.
