I have long wished to have the lower stomach tattoo removed and finally got the courage up to visit Laser and Light Surgery Center and do just that! I love that their website had a lot of information about the removal process. I also enjoyed that the price was listed as well as what to expect during and after the procedure. On the day of, I entered the office and was nervous. The receptionist that greeted me was really nice. It was only a short wait until I saw the gentleman that performs the procedure. He confirmed the price that their website states, a tattoo like mine would cost $100 per treatment and may take 7 or 8 treatments. He was very patient with me as I was hesitant to let the laser touch me but wanted the procedure. He used 2 lasers on me, one for colored ink and one for black ink. I had heard that the procedure was way more painful than getting a tattoo however I found it to be less so. Three weeks after my first treatment and my tattoo is already much lighter than it was. I am quite happy with my experience!

It's just a 45 min appointment with main doctor. I left without paying anything. They gave me follow up appointment for next month which lasts for 30mins. After my second app I got a big bill of $235 visiting fees from which ($72by insurance) $162 I have to pay out of the pocket. For next visit they charge me $150 ($44paid by insurance) &!I paid $105 out of the pocket. Then I came to know if you don't have insurance & paying out of the pocket their visiting fees is $120 for first visit & $60 for follow up visit. I mean why ????? We are paying for insurance to get less bills when needed & end up paying more for doctors visit plus insurance premiums. Like seriously is this how it works in America. If I go to same doctor I will pay less without using insurance. With insurance Doctors visit fees -$235 Insurance paid. - $72 Out of pocket. $162 Without insurance Doctors visit fees- $120 Sorry for the long post.... But this is not right at all.
