A coworker told me about Vara Juice, and once I tried it--I was hooked. Even though it's called a…read morejuice, it's definitely more of a thick, creamy smoothie. My favorite is the original vara juice it's a whole layered experience. It starts with coconut at the bottom, then strawberry, followed by--you're going to think it sounds weird--avocado. But trust me, it's so good. From there it blends into mango, and all together, it's like a rainbow of flavor. Honestly, one of the best smoothies I've ever had. I just had to share it with my mom and daughter, who are both foodies like me--and they loved it too. My mom lives closer to the Garden City location, but I usually go to the one in Dearborn. This location is better if you want to sit and lounge. Definitely better location with a parking lot that isn't small or on a one-way street like Dearborn. All I can say is--if we ever get a Vara Juice located Downriver, I'd be there daily because I can't get enough!

So, you start with Aloe Tea,, select a flavor and that's what you'll start with while the master mixer whips up your choice of beverage. I went with the Orange Creamsicle with extra protein which was extra delightful. My husband went with Cinnamon Toast Crunch with the extra protein as well. His was good, mine was better. We also scored some samples as well. We got to try the Oreo and the Birthday Cake which was definitely something notable for the next time we pay this joint a visit. I had a great time here. I can definitely see myself coming back and trying out all or "most" of the flavors. The setting was tidy and clean and the guy working behind whipping up the smoothies is super friendly and attentive AF. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!

It's great to come to a health food store that also sells incense , pistachio products, a large variety of dairy-free cheese and so much more! I thought it was cool that they sold bison meat here. I want to make sure that I wasn't at a Jungle Jim's because that's hard to find. The store is a bit pricey but I do believe this has the best selection of food and household goods compare to most health food stores probably within a 50 Mile radius. The staff was very friendly too! I want to give a shout out to a staff member that I saw escorting a elderly man with a cart full of groceries and helping him load his car too! Thought that was kind of wild for 2 shakes, and if we were in the drive thru that would've been a long wait. Figured it wouldn't take that long, but it definitely took almost all 15 minutes to get our shakes. The shakes were good but don't think they take 15 minutes to make when the restaurant is dead.
