We both have our own weapons including hand guns, shot guns and rifles. This place was pretty amazing. The sign up process was extremely efficient and the staff was incredibly helpful. It took about 30-45 minutes to get on the paper range. My son's hearing protection batteries were dead. The staff went got him new ones that were on hand. TY We received another brief range explanation from the Range Safety Officer and he assisted us with setting up the first target. We brought our own targets, but they have them for purchase too. We shoot the 9mm first really enjoying the ability to automatically adjust range at the touch of a button. Then we shot the ARs, which can be a bit loud for the space even double protected hearing devices were worn. It got really loud when the two next to us were shooting ARs at the same time. However, it was adequate for shooting them in a controlled environment. The RSO was alert, I saw him deliver a warning to the two next to us. Much appreciated The place was extremely clean! The process was really down to an art. A bit sophisticated for this Army retire. Did I mention they gave me a military discount? TY We walked around the store afterwards. They have an ample section of firearms and accessories. I bought a new rifle case. Prices were reasonable. I look forward to coming back soon. Father son memories for a life time.

The highlight was definitely the Nexus Lanes. Instead of just boring paper targets, you shoot live ammo at a digital video wall. It was perfect for testing my new scope because the system gives you instant feedback on every shot with precise analytics on accuracy and grouping. Plus, playing the zombie and asteroid games made the practice session actually fun. A huge shoutout to the staff for their help. I was a bit intimidated setting up my new gear, but the RSO was super patient and knowledgeable, helping me get my scope dialed in quickly. If you have a new gun or just want a better shooting experience, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

The course was very interesting, with lots of great information and some other important things that usually people are worried about - like "when is it ok to shoot to the back". I surely found lots of needed laws for Florida state. Our instructor Chris was very knowledgeable, fun and was able to answer on all of our questions. I also like that he did provide lots of great examples in a real life situation. Highly recommend this course! Easy from the beginning to the very end. Thank you!

Because of covid the actual class was done via zoom and the competency portion was done in person at the facility. At first I was very skeptical because the class was going to be done via zoom. I thought I wouldn't be taught as effectively as I would had it been in person but I was very wrong. He called on us multiple times to ask us questions, role play certain scenarios, and even interact in the chat. The portion in person was very simple too, you simply show competency with a firearm and he explains a little more and gives you in the end your certificate. A lot of police departments aren't offering fingerprints right now due to COVID-19 but he has BOS coming to his facility twice a week to do fingerprints for $50, which I went ahead and did. This facility also offers multiple courses for firearm safety and training which I do look forward to taking sometime soon. Overall I truly recommend this place if you're looking to getting your concealed weapons license or if you want further firearm training. Chris is definitely doing amazing things here!

My gripe is towards Dennis who owns and runs the store. This is disappointing to have to come here and do this and typically it's a burden to have to deal with issues and have to broadcast it. I purchased a Canik Rival - S March 7, 2023 for a total of $1,175.93. Paid it in full. Gave Dennis(owner) the benefit of the doubt that they lost that Fedex lost the package, they weren't sending it out, that it was going to be there multiple dates, and from the 36 calls I made to the location, I only got a call once after prefacing if someone will ever call with an update. It wasn't till June 24, 2023 when I walked in after Dennis mentioning to me it was going to be there and...... it wasn't. No call, no heads up or anything. Dennis tried making it up by hooking me up with another gun. I was interested in the Sig MPX and tells me he's a "master dealer" and that 36 were in stock and he should have it by that Monday, June 26, 2023 and was paid in full for a total of $1,904.60. Full transparency: I sell a 1911 and also purchase a Holosun AEMS with the MPX. Gun never came because of "shipping." He mentioned the gun would have arrived multiple times and that's only after me calling. Dennis then mentions the gun will be there August 1, 2023 and I gave him a day of grace period to show up August 2, 2023 and then still has nothing to show or even warns me. I show up and again. Just nothing. He did give me 500 9mm Bullets, but that's the least of my worries right now. So what. Here's is when I'm told the Canik is having issues and the company isn't shipping it out because of it. Check attachments in what Juan at Canik says. Seems a bit weird, fishy, or straight nonsense. After dealing with thee poorest customer experience ever. Finally MPX shows up August 9, 2023 and I give him a two day grace period and show up August 11, 2023 to pick it up. Gun is there and the Holosun AEMS isn't. After being there for hours, Robert and Dwayne were super helpful and sends Robert to pick up the optic. Here's the best part. I ask for my money back for the Canik. I've asked for since August 2, 2023 and Dennis has mentioned to me twice that it's been processed and worst case, I'll be Zelle's the money August 14, 2023 at the latest. I call back three times that week and no word from Dennis. Dwayne helps out and he mentions the returned has been processed on August 17th, 2023. Still, no refund or call or even a update. I want my money back Dennis. This is sad that this is how things are conducted. I have no clue what I did exactly to get treated like this, but I refuse to still be played with. And it seems there's history of not refunding people correctly or even in a fashionable manner. What's the next move here? 08/25/2023 I called again because I was told 08/17/2023 that the return has been processed. I was informed I now have to go out of my way to drive 40 mins north to pick up a check when Dennis specifically mentioned he would Zelle the money 08/07/2023 if I didn't receive it. Also, it's a bit funny that now I have to wait till Monday to pick up a check I have to go out of my way for?? That makes total sense. 8/29 - I spoke with Dwayne and it didn't seem I was ever going to get my money back. I then inquired about a Sig AXG Legion and I was told I'd get a tracking number this time and specifically asked for a call back with the update. That didn't happen. 9/31 - I called back and I was told it was busy and that I get the tracking info. Nope!! 9/5/23 I called twice from my phone number (818 area code) and rang forever. I then called from my friends phone (407 Orlando area code) and apparently Dennis answered. I asked him about the refund and quickly he stated, "I don't have time to go back and forth with you." Then turned the conversation around about the Sig and that in 20 mins I would receive a tracking number. Never happened. 9/7 - I get a call from Dwayne with good news. The Sig arrived. I HATE to have to blast a company in this was, but the simple lack of respect after so much burden is never fun when people out their hard earned money and to be played with.

Having played poker in a casino over 15 years, I have decided to give dealing a shot. I have…read morealways wanted to deal poker professionally, be it part or full time. But I have no experience sooooo I enrolled in the Mizrachi Dealer Academy Inc. The program is 120 hours long, which takes about 6 weeks minimum considering the dealer school is only open M-Th. I currently have logged about 18 hours and it is a definite W.I.P (work in progress). Stacy, the instructor, is very demanding and has her own in-your-face style. But there is no doubt an end game method to the style. Poker dealers generally take in between 50k-60k so going to poker school is worth it. In order to get a dealing position, one must pass an audition at a casino. There is where the poker school is crucial because of contacts to local poker rooms. Otherwise, it is tough to get that perverbial foot in the door. Stacy teaches you the proper techniques from the ground up. But, as there are other students, one must also practice well on his or her own. I currently have my own green felt and poker chips at home for practice purposes. Completing the 120 hour course does not guarantee anyone a diploma and an audition, as everyone learns at a different pace. But those students with over 120 hours are allowed to attend the classes until they are audition ready. Gulfstream Casino and Mardi Gras Casino are the two major contacts in connection with the dealer school. However, once you become an adept dealer with a diploma, most other casinos may give you a look. I only know of a few other poker dealer schools in South Florida. Based on my 18 hour experience so far, the Mizrachi Dealer Academy Inc is the way to go. Because if you can handle the pressure there, I believe it to be a piece of cake dealing for real in a casino. You are taught, among other techniques, how to pitch the cards, count the bank, cut the chips, proper shuffling, the different poker games, count and take the rake, running the game, what to look for, and several other necessities for dealing success. But it's not easy. I know the game well but was surprised how little I knew about dealing. Awkward at first, I now feel like I'm beginning to hit a little groove. The 120 hour course costs $1,300. It may be paid in two increments. So, if you are looking to switch careers like me, give poker dealing and this school a look. It can be a part time job as well...

I'm a nervous wreck and it's hard to believe in myself in most situations! Boy oh boy did Stacy change that. The way she believed in me, helped me to believe in myself. She has a way of making you WANT to be better. If you take her course, you will want to prove yourself to her and it will push you to practice every day. It will push you to want to do it for yourself. She never gives up on you. If the course was double the price I paid, I would still do it. She goes above and beyond to implant the rules in your head. If everyone learned from her, the casinos would all have perfect dealers. I'm so happy I took the step to take this course. I went from a lost waitress to a confident poker dealer and I owe it all to her. Stacy, if you're reading this. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you again.
