Came here on a Monday, which is ladies shoot free. I was very nervous but everyone on the staff was so welcoming and they make you feel right at home. Getting checked in was quick and once we had all the shooting gear we were monitored and help . If we needed any assistance there was always someone there to help you get adjusted and give safety tips if need be. I felt extremely safe during my whole visit. I even warmed up once I shot a couple rounds. All in all I had a great time and Nexus will be my shooting range of choice moving forward. read more

My adult son took me to the range two days before Christmas as a present. I spent 23 years in the Army, I've never been to a civilian range. Not to mention indoor as well. We both have our own weapons including hand guns, shot guns and rifles. This place was pretty amazing. The sign up process was extremely efficient and the staff was incredibly helpful. It took about 30-45 minutes to get on the paper range. My son's hearing protection batteries were dead. The staff went got him new ones that were on hand. TY We received another brief range explanation from the Range Safety Officer and he assisted us with setting up the first target. We brought our own targets, but they have them for purchase too. We shoot the 9mm first really enjoying the ability to automatically adjust range at the touch of a button. Then we shot the ARs, which can be a bit loud for the space even double protected hearing devices were worn. It got really loud when the two next to us were shooting ARs at the same time. However, it was adequate for shooting them in a controlled environment. The RSO was alert, I saw him deliver a warning to the two next to us. Much appreciated The place was extremely clean! The process was really down to an art. A bit sophisticated for this Army retire. Did I mention they gave me a military discount? TY We walked around the store afterwards. They have an ample section of firearms and accessories. I bought a new rifle case. Prices were reasonable. I look forward to coming back soon. Father son memories for a life time. read more

Went on Sunday afternoon, with family. It's a very modern clean place. They have everything. The staff very professional and knowledgeable. The wait time is a bit lengthy about 40 minutes usually ( 3 last times I've come in 2 months). You can rent guns or bring your own. I seen a family shooting AR, next to us with 2 young kids around 9-11 years old. I was surprised. We paid $20 each for and hour and brought our guns and ammo. They have nice bathroom to wash hands after shooting. I'm definitely returning. They are open until 8 pm but best to be there by latest 6 pm to get a spot. read more

The hubs brought me here to get some time in and shoot. It was very organized inside - he was in his happy place like a kid in a candy store. This was my first time going to a shooting range and I had the best experience! I was nervous but they made it very comfortable for my friend and I and showed us everything we need to know. I went to Nexus with my husband to buy him a firearm for his birthday. We first interacted with Dane on November 4, 2025, completed all the required paperwork, and were told to return the following Tuesday after 5:00 PM with his driver's license to pick it up. When we went back yesterday (Tuesday), we were helped by Michael, handed him the receipt, and were suddenly told my husband would also need his residency card, something Dane didn't tell us. We drove 35 minutes home, got the card, came all the way back, then Jordan comes over to help Michael clear the release and informs us it's actually supposed to be November 12 (today). So we basically made two full trips for absolutely nothing because Michael here, couldn't be bothered to do his job right or communicate clearly. And when we tried to explain the situation to Jordan, Michael shrugged it off with, "It's not a big deal, bro." That was the moment I realized that dude has no concept of customer service or accountability. It was a big deal, considering we wasted hours and gas because of his incompetence. Acting like it's nothing when you're the one who dropped the ball is wild. We came back today to finally pick up the weapon and use the range, and thankfully, our experience was completely different. Tyrone and Bryson (both Black employees) were professional, kind, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. Corey was also a sweetheart, and Rainer on the range was helpful and respectful. I'm noting this because, as a Black couple, it was clear that the employees who looked like us were the ones who treated us with the most dignity and professionalism. Would we ever return? Absolutely not. We'll stick with Declaration Defense, where the staff knows how to communicate, listen, and actually value customers' time....And doesn't hover on the range. Bottom line: Michael was rude, unprofessional, and lacks basic customer service skills. Do everyone a favor and keep him far away from customers -- maybe let him alphabetize ammo boxes or count bullets in the back, since talking clearly isn't his strong suit. read more

Purchased my first gun a S&W Carry Comp and didn't realize when I got home and compared it to a buddy of mine that had purchased the same exact gun at a different dealer that mine came just in the cardboard box and did not come in it's blue plastic bag, also was missing the gun cleaning kit hindsight they probable sold me an open box as brand new. After tons of back and forth and even having one of the managers/sales guys bring down a different S&W model to try and explain to me that they come in "different bundles". Sir, was trying to compare apples to oranges which only added insult to injury. It's a $20 accessory online which is not a big deal but I expect to get what I paid for. Total disappointment after I spent nearly $1000 there that day between gun accesssorys and range time. They obviously don't care about their customers, I will be taking my business elsewhere. We arrived early for their digital lanes. First time here and we paid the 10 dollars for membership. It's my husbands birthday weekend and he chose to come here. We were told that the digital lanes would open at 2:00 pm. We left and return and checked in at 1:44 pm. It is 3:09 pm and we left without experiencing the digital range. No communication, no "I'm sorry", nothing! We asked and were told "there should be enough staff in 20 minutes". It was frustrating, no proper communication and no proper customer service! Alright friends here is the run down on Nexus shooting. It is the only indoor shooting range of its kind. I would even argue it's the only shooting range of choice if your a first time shooter. Truly a premiere experience here is what you can expect: 1. Greeted upon entry 2. If your new be prepared with your ID, to sign a waiver, and an additional $10.00 for your membership! (You will be back and it's for life) 3. Let the front know what ranges you will like to shoot on DIGITAL (handguns .22-.45) or PAPER (long rifles and handguns .50). VIP LANES (reservation only) 4. When your lane is available they will buzz you and you can head to the back wall to get geared up. 5. choose your rentals and purchase eat and eye protection. (Their guns = their ammunition) 6. You are greeted by a range officer who will give you a basic run down or if you know the range they will let you loose. A little extra on our experience: We live in Orlando but even if we lived out of state the Nexus experience is worth the travel. Especially when teaching little one's (10+) to learn proper handling and gun safety. We are firm believers in desensitization in a controlled environment. Our little wanted but was fearful upon entering the range. We are from communities, directly apart of aid initiatives, and continue to pay our respects at the sites and memorials of the SMD and Pulse tragedies. The Nexus experienced helped them get used to the sound. Which originally was causing them to freeze and get emotional. It's important to note we have been teaching them about mechanics, firearm safety, and even run, hide, and fight for three months prior when they first expressed wanting to learn. Nothing can prepare those that have never been exposed to the sound and reality of a deadly weapon. The digital range offers an ease into the presence and helps relieve anxiety many new shooters experience. The games make it feel like a simulated video game. Although It took a while, when we did begin shooting paper lessons were now able to be implemented. The range officer was so kind and helped us with a many jams in our rental (expected in a .22) so that they could complete all 96 rounds. Littles enjoy balloons because it feels like they are playing a fair game. As they graduate there are moving ducks and frogs, zombies, and many other choices! I am so grateful to have witnessed the original response to being on the range. It made room for open dialogue about feelings and how would they would respond without ear and eye protection if they find themselves in an emergency active shooter event. I'm grateful Nexus offers a controlled and safe environment for parents that choose to teach these lessons. I recently starting going to Nexus on Monday's, which is Ladies' Day when women get free range time on the paper lanes. In addition to that perk, the RSO Alex is usually on duty, so as a beginner, it is really helpful to have his expertise as needed. Alex knows firearms and he is incredibly professional and patient. I think the RSO makes a huge difference in the experience, and I highly recommend going to Nexus, especially if you are a beginner. They have so many classes, it is affordable, the facilities are impeccable and parking is free. Membership is less than a tank of gas and the benefits are endless. I've been to a lot of ranges, but never to anything remotely close to what Nexus has to offer. Alex, the RSO, is there most days, and trust me, from the moment you enter for check in to the time you spend on the range, you will want to put it on your calendar for regular visits. I came to buy something and I left right after. I had questions that did not ask because the staff was not approachable DMV not approachable lol. I did look around before I left and found the place super clean and the staff professional. As I first walked in my greeting was a strong "Can I help you with anything " from someone working the front. no smile or friendliness. It was like a cop just had stopped me and was giving me a ticket. For a woman new to the industry and a little scared that was intimidating. I started to question my future choice. I've been coming to Nexus now weekly, since February. The team there is extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every time I visit, they're quick to get me checked in and assigned to a lane. However, today was different and they did something unexpected. They raised the already high bar they have set for themselves as a gun range. I was enjoying my personal time on the range, testing out my firearms. When I very clearly hear a gentleman, Tommy I found out later, giving loud and simple instructions to other team members on how to safely operate a machine gun. Never having fired an automatic weapon in my life, I was intrigued and wanted to be better informed on how to hold and operate the firearm safely. He was loud and clear, extremely informative so much so it got me excited to shoot. Tommy saw how excited I was and invited me to shoot a clip of the MP5 to try out! He explained how to load it, load one in to the chamber, and switch safety, single, and auto. I fired away and it made an unforgettable experience! The team told me they're going to be adding machine guns/automatic firearms for rent in the next coming weeks. After closing out my rentals, Nick and Mel were able to assist in picking up my Springfield and FFL. The team and staff there are top tier, and on a level of their own. This is by far one of the worse experiences I have had at a shooting range. Came in and there was a line that we waited in for 10 minutes then was told if we weren't a member we have to get out line fill out a form the. Get back in line at the end. Mind you other people were filling it out and then being able to cut the line to get helped. The girl at the front check in couldn't even answer basic questions of how much shooting was and how long the wait would be. After paying for a membership fee of $10 each person, we then waited an hour being able to shoot , as the line grew longer . Finally we were able to go into the range, and it was a horrible uneasy atmosphere. The gun rangers were unfriendly and one was on his phone most of the time. There is no room in these booths and they have rules like no bags on the floor, well where would you like me to put them then ? The looks that we received from the gun rangers was very unprofessional. We even decided to leave before the hour was up because it was so uneasy and uncomfortable. I have no clue how this place states it has 5 stars on its website. I wish I could give them a zero star but it won't let me so I guess a one star is the worse I can give.
