Absolutely delicious lunch 2 days in a row. Wish we could have gone for dinner but they are only open some nights (weekends maybe?). My favorite was the organic raw peanut caramel chocolate dessert square. But I also loved the duck salad and the asparagus and broad beans with feta on toast. They happily substituted whole-grain bread for the white. (What is with this country? Why do all these nice cafés serve white bread? Who wants the less delicious/nutritious stripped down version??!!! I don't care if it is sourdough, it's still empty calories). Our only complaint is the steak on the steak sammy was pretty raw. I love that they have a "Spring" menu! Not just summer & winter like so many places. They sell a bunch of local artisan products, and have a real commitment to sustainability. I love all the stories on the wall about their green practices. Nice garden out back with produce that it seems they actually use on the menu. Pigs and chooks too.
