My stay at Studios on 25th was my first vacation rental where there would be no check in upon…read morearrival. I was given a code and instructions through email. There were a lot of instructions but it was very clear what was needed and it was rather an easy process. It was a little weird emailing a selfie of myself but fine if that was all they needed for proof of who I was and that we had checked in. The room/apartment was amazing. It felt like a home and large enough to feel comfortable. We used the kitchen and dining area as we were there a few days. Everything was available from plates and cups to sponges and dish soap. However, there were only bath samples enough for one use so if you are planning on staying more than one night then bring your own shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. The white towel situation is very strict so if you don't want to be charged for soiling the linens in any way, bring your own towels. The location is central and private parking is available right in front of your apartment unit. I never heard any noise from neighbors and we were required to take out our own trash since it was basically an apartment complex. I had no issues with any of the rules and would gladly stay here again. We really loved it and it was way cheaper than any of the hotels in downtown Atlanta.

I booked through Booking.Com, and the only room option was the "STANDARD" studio when I booked. I…read moredid not realize there would be a difference between the pictures posted online and what I would actually be renting. While the "bedroom/living room" portion was updated, I was surprised to learn that the kitchen and especially bathroom were not. I don't feel like anyone should be surprised when it comes to a purchase, so this review is accompanied by actual pictures of the Studios on 25th (standard) located at 47 25th Street Northwest in Atlanta. TIPS: -Be prepared for TONS OF TRAFFIC at this location (not the hotel's fault) -Bring your own towels and toiletries. You'll arrive and find two bath towels, and two hand towels. There are palm-sized containers of a shampoo, conditioner, and body soap -- good for one use only. -There is no on-sight front desk, so check in will require you to take photos of the following and submit them online to complete your virtual check-in experience: Picture of self holding your DL, Picture of your credit card that you used to book, and picture of the credit card you'd like to use for damages -Speaking of damages, while I was not charged for anything extra, please be very careful. There are lots of rules, including warnings about soiling their towels, or throwing away empty cleaning supply bottles. There is a minimum damages fee if any damages are assessed, so just read all the fine print. And don't forget to take your garbage out at the end of your stay! That's part of your check out list. By the way, the minute I stepped into the room and realized it was nothing like the pictures, I immediately contacted management. They advised me that I booked the **standard** room, so I was in the right place. It's just too bad that the pictures advertising the place did not match up to the actual room. Anyway, it's not a bad place, but since this trip was a graduation present for my daughter, I was sort of embarrassed at the accommodations I'd unwittingly chosen. I don't know why there are no photos available of the standard studio, especially the bathroom. Anyway, I've included them so future potential guests can be truly informed before making a decision. If you just need a clean, quiet place to rest your head and you hate hotels, this might work for you. EDIT: In response to the owners notes below, I would add that (1) The room was well over $100 a night. I stayed three nights and paid $451 with tax. It is currently advertised on booking.com for $126 a night for the standard room. (2)The pictures I've posted are of the actual room I stayed in. I did not do any sort of photo magic or editing. That's the room I had. What about the pictures is inaccurate? The bathroom has not been renovated since the 60's. It could be upgraded using vintage styled finishes if one was truly going for a vintage look and there would be no need to tear the building down to renovate the bathroom. The way it is now, some choose to call it "vintage", I call it old and outdated. It needs way more than some caulking. (3) The one star review reflects the bait/switch tactics that made me feel like I'd been fooled. The pictures on booking.com are, at the very least, misleading. The photos of the upgraded units are mixed in with the standard units, and not one advertising picture *accurately* depicts the bathroom. Yes, the unit is quiet, clean, and a unique departure from the standard hotel. However, the consumer has the right to know the whole story. For some people, even with the un-renovated bathroom, the unit would be fine. The goal of my review was simply to make potential guests fully aware of all aspects of the room. (4) This company has a few properties in the area. Not only that, but they have normal, updated studios in the very building I stayed in. I imagine the good reviews are from people who've had the benefit of better accommodations than I had.

I caught 54 roaches in one trap in one night, not including the other 16 or so I killed with my shoe...! They have a pest control company come once a month to spray..,water I think because what ever they are spraying does NOT work.! Don't know why they haven't been fired...and although the staff are nice, they don't seem to give a s**t..!!! If I ever saw the owner I would probably yell at him a lot, but can't find out who he is. I will be calling the health department.. Oh, and the Internet, when I first moved here I said "like, does the Internet work at all or is it just really slow" and they said yea sometimes, kinda, on and off but the owner doesn't really want to pay for it... All I kept thinking was I'm pretty sure we're paying for it out of the money we pay every month. BUT NO...!!! And when you call the recording says " where high speed internet is free, my ass. Where is it why is it so slow whe it does work and since the owner is paying for it out of our rent money, why doesn't it work, and fast. But I checked, false advertising is AGAINST THE LAW. And I think I need to make some calls regarding that also.. The drug dealing going on around here is unbelievable. But nobody will do anything about it. They installed cameras but can't help wondering if they even work or did they forget to turn them on.... But then again, somebody would actually have to watch them, and I know for a fact nobody does... They need to hire a security person to watch the cameras and make notes about what goes on around here and write down plate numbers and note the times and dates.. Hell, I would do it but like I said, no one cares, and apparently the owner won't pay for someone to do that.. GUESS THAT MAKES HIM A SC*M BAG SLUM LORD.. I don't feel safe here. People are selling drugs right out in the open like its nothing. I know it's on tape, if the cameras are on.?? BUT NOBODY IS LOOKING AT THE TAPES. I'm tired of it and I'm going to talk to a lawyer friend of mine. Just F.Y.I. he's the district attorney and a good friend. What's even worse, I feel sorry for the people that have children here because there are "SEX OFFENDERS" living on the premises. That's a fact and anyone can look that up.. Anyway there has got to be a better place to live out there somewhere... Take my advice, "DONT LIVE HERE". May god be with you all and be safe...

We stayed in Gen. Corse's Suite which had a super comfortable king size bed, a giant jacuzzi garden tub, heated bathroom tile floor, television, and more. We had the privilege of speaking with Lynn, the owner, and she was so helpful and friendly. The inn was clean and beautifully decorated. Everything is within convenient driving distance. We will definitely visit again!

The location canNOT be beat - right across from the lake with great access to hiking trails and fishing holes. Even just walking and "setting" along the dam was so nice and breezy. Porch setting with a great view of the lake was relaxing. The beds are comfortable (if a bit high for this 5'3" short-legged lady) and the homemade quiche for breakfast was super creamy, with some berries for extra fiber. The owners served breakfast and though did *NOT* REQUIRE masks for Covid protection, they did wear masks and also showed off their extra-disinfectant machine and other anti-Covid preparations that they were taking. VERY affordable for us ~ $130+taxes and fees for 1 Friday night during Covid, I'm not sure if that was a lower price due to quarantine but it was a definite value from our perspective. I highly recommend this stop to people who want to spend time in Cartersville or at Lake Allatoona or are just passing through and want a non-hotel experience - you will love it!!

The wrap-around deck provided a nice scenic view while nestled deeply in the wooded forest of N. Georgia. We enjoyed the well cleaned/organized 2 bedroom loft-style accommodations, hot tub, strong wireless internet (some didn't comprehend what unplugging meant), washer/dryer, propane grill, fully functioning kitchen & appliances. All the cabins are uber dog friendly (sorry my feline friends) with providing free amenities - a large pet bed, food and water bowls, toys, treats & beach towels. There's no size, weight limits, breed restrictions, or pet deposits...where's the love for the Kats? The nearby Benton MacKaye Hiking Trail is easy to access during daylight & all pathways leading to the main road is gravel. We will be back to try another of the many cabins that the Sliding Rock Property Management offers. Very misleading the directions we got was ridiculous we were coming from Chattanooga but their directions brought us from Atlanta. Why not just give people the physical home address with the street address and let them Google it themselves. You treat people as though they are too stupid to know how to Google the address. We had to end up asking local people where the specific road it was on was because we drove around a half an hour trying to find it with the crappy directions provided from you. It would have been so much easier if we had the house number the name of the road the house was on and let us Google it from our home. The 12 pages of fine print rules should be given to someone before all the money has been paid and they're locked into a contract they may not want to be in. Had I have read all those rules before you got my money I probably would not have agreed to it. I have cleaned hotels from Holiday inn Express to Roach motels on highway 19 in Florida. Nowhere I have worked has ever required the guest to have a checklist they're required to do. I paid an extra $200 over what the room was supposed to cost for cleaning yet my guest and I were required to strip the beds take out the trash load and unload the dishwasher.... All the cleaning staff had to do was do the laundry which consists of the sheets and the towels they apparently do not wash their comforters . So when you sit on the comforter you're sitting on whatever the last guest left behind. Their ad said lake and a mountain views all we could see were trees. Had to leave the property to see any mountains or lakes rivers anything. This was my first vacation I'm in my 60s it wasn't what I had hoped it would be. They say their dog friendly yet don't want any dog hair on the furniture the beds I brought my own blankets from home to cover all of their stuff so that my dog could be on the furniture . Not very dog friendly if my dog isn't allowed to sit on the couch or sleep in the bed with me like he would at home. Then when I try to bring this to their attention they blocked me on Facebook and ignore my emails they are not the only game in town guess I'll be checking out Big sky or somewhere else nearby there or maybe go to Gatlinburg next year. I wanted to come back to sliding Rock and rent something on the water but I'd be afraid what I would get would not match the photos they show I feel like that is false advertisement. The gas grill on the back porch I had planned on making burgers on it but they can't even bother to put batteries in it so that you can light it it had plenty of gas just couldn't light it. My roommate said it needed batteries same thing for the lanterns on the table I would like to have used them but they did not have batteries either. For what you charge your guest you could at least put batteries in stuff so that they can use it. Why show a gas grill if it is not where guests can use it. The cabin itself and all the little knick-knacks I but the photos of the outside did not match . You could have avoided this bad review buy a dressing my concerns privately but no you wanted to ignore and block me this is what happens when you choose to ignore and block your guest then I'll review I did elsewhere they basically came on there and called me a liar.
