Armen the barber is the worst at following city safety guidelines. Not of does he not follow them but he allows his customers to waltz right in without a face covering. He has little to no disregard to tell his customers to distance them selves. I delt with this situation 2x already cuz i absolutely love ALBA UNFORTUNATELY HER CHAIR IS NEXT TO HIS. If he cant follow regulations then close your chair buddy. I took my 16 year old daughter today to get a hair cut. I had heard good things about this place so I took her there. She had beautiful long curly hair. We were helped by liana, an Armenian woman. We showed her a picture of the long layers that my daughter wanted to get. We clearly told her that we wanted long layers and she seemed to understand, she even pointed at the length she was going to cut on my daughter's hair, however when she was done, my daughter's hair was cut very short. All her hair was on the ground and my daughter was broken hearted. This Liana doesn't follow directions, she just does her thing carelessly. She did an awful job and sadly my daughter's hair is gone. Don't go to this place, and especially don't allow this Liana woman to cut your hair. You will be sorry as my daughter is after letting Liana cut her hair. Excellent job Armen did with my handsome little boys hair. Actually, I was on the stop light next to this hair salon. The phone number was written bid on the window. I called them. Lady answered the phone and she said that she will call be in 5 min if there is any slots right now. I said ok, and start heads up the to the store. She called me and said that they have open slot right now. She called me after like 3 min. I was so happy, because I was kind of in a rush, and here, wow, without waiting and quick))) So then, I took my son there, and i explained what i want. My son's hair grow fast, and because of thickness of his hair, we need more haircuts than usually. Well, Armen did his job perfectly, I'm very happy with this. And will come more, and with appointments, because only this time I got lucky, usually salons ar ed busy if they are good enough. Love this place. I finally found a local shop I love. I usually go to Supercuts, but after coming here....never again. I always have trouble with people understanding what I want done to my hair, never fails! I came in a showed this lovely lady a picture from a book I wanted. She just started explaining, literally how the haircut will look and what she will do and asked if its what I wanted. WOW! never had that kind of customer service before. Sounds silly but this place is great. I live right up the street and didn't even know it. It's such a small place. Its in the smallest plaza right off Kester and Sherman way. Parking lot is extremely small. Like it can only hold maybe 10 cars approx. If your not happy with your service, I would come here! Haircuts for women $15. The few times we have been here we did not have to wait and we got fast service. I gave a brief description of the type of cut, they asked a few technical questions and bam! We had the same vision. Kept it a little longer with the cuts at first to make sure I was comfortable with the length and then brought it to the length I desired. Which I'm extremely grateful for.
